Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe owner of the property is a sweetheart of a lady. She gave us fruit and nuts upon arrival. She also brought us a yummy homemade dessert.

IsraelThere are quite a few narrow stairs to get to the room you should take into account. Plus there is a parking issue during the weekends and you can only park about 10-15 minutes walk from it.
Location is awesome and the staff is super nice and welcoming. The room is big and the bed is comfortable. They also put some fresh fruit, nuts and a rose wine bottle in the room fridge.

United KingdomThere was not any dedicated parking for the B&B though there is shared parking which worked for us.
Location was great - very central and overlooking the sea. The owner was wonderful, providing fruit, biscuits and wine bottle on arrival. The roomhad lots of little nice touches, guide books and pamphlets, extra tea/ coffee etc for the kitcenette. The room was spotlessly clean and the shower just great.

United KingdomIt was just what we were looking for, but if you are looking for a place that provides breakfast and/or changes towels every day then this place isn't for you.
Saint Anna is such a lovely and special place in the heart of the Old City of Akko. We loved the roof terrace and the hosts were so warm and friendly.

GermanyNice, clean and quiet (except for the prayer times at the mosque nearby) little apartment directly located in the old town of Akko(n) Friendly senior host couple who offered complimentary fruits and nuts when we arrived. One day, they brought us a typical Arabian breakfast. Parking space is around 7 minutes walk close to the prison museum. Good value-price ratio for Israel We really enjoyed our stay! Thanks for everything! PS: The two apartments are located on the top of a typical/traditional (historical?) building. There are some steep stairs to get up there (no elevator). No problem for us, but you might consider this when booking for people who have difficulties walking stairs.

JerseyIn order to have the rooftop views there are 60 steps to the room and terrace. We didn’t mind, but I think it’s worth mentioning in the advertising. We felt the price should include breakfast.
Beautifully designed space, lovely treats and a very warm welcome on arrival. Great to be in the old city and so close to the sea promenade.

IsraelOverall, the place had some drawbacks including no allocated parking despite what was mentioned on Booking, the presence of ants, and a lot of stairs to climb. Additionally, some of the room walls had cracks, marks, and wetness marks.
On the positive side, the hosts were very kind and provided fruits and wine as a nice gesture. The balcony was also a nice and quiet place to hang out.

Israel60 steps to reach the room many of which were filthy and narrow. The advertised balcony was a shared entry area that was not inviting and no sea view as advertised. Breakfast (additional cost) was good but at a café a few minutes walk from the room.
The room was well equipped with a coffee machine and basic kitchen facilities but nothing to cook or warm things.
