How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

If you come by car, good luck with finding a close parking spot. The beds were awful, not comfortable at all. The shower is too small plus when you turn on the water the floor gets flooded easily. The breakfast was ok, very rich but few things weren't tasty, like the coffee from the machine

The pool is not very big. The pool bar did not have popsicles and ice cream for the kids which is missing when spending time with kids. During the day the lobby bar was not staffed to serve coffee or other drinks. These are small things I mentioned but our overall experience of staying at the hotel was very good
The hotel's location is close and accessible within a reasonable walk to the city's sites. The room we received was clean and spacious with a beautiful view of the old city. The breakfast is varied with a selection that also catered to children.

We celebrated a few family members' birthdays. Very nice atmosphere all around. Very good service. We all enjoyed this weekend.

I understand it is Saturday, but to do 2 Shabbat elevators means that the non religious waited a long time for one working elevator. Sometimes 10 minutes or more

The hotel is lovely and very centrally located within walking distance to the Old City and the stunning Yemin Moshe suburb. The room was very comfy and thoughtfully designed. I was a little disappointed with the staff, who were very stoney faced and really looked like they didn't want to be there! This was the only negative and didn't really impact my stay.

The only.tjing we didn't like, is that our stay came to anyone end. The hotel is addictive!!
We had such a nice experience at the Cassia Hotel. Everything was perfect! From the comfortable spacious rooms, to the beautifully decorated friendly lobby, the cleanliness, the delicious abundance breakfast and exceptional staff. Thank you for giving us an amazing experience! It's a 10+ for us!

The bed was quite hard and the room was a bit warm, even at the coldest setting. The dinner meal we had there was OK, but expensive.
Great location, more affordable option in the area. Staff was very helpful.

The stay (and the Friday Night meal) were more expensive than I was hoping for. And, if I'm digging deep to find improvements, I would suggest having Fresh Orange Juice at breakfast.
The rooms, the location and the staff (particularly Ali at breakfast, for whom nothing was too much trouble) were all excellent.

Restaurant closes at 8:30 pm for dinner but waiters start to put you pressure at 8:00 pm to clean the tables and prepare them for the breakfast of the day after.

staff wasn't super nice, but also not too bad. Parking isn't settled, parking lot is terrible, could barely come out.
The pool was really nice, they let us in the room earlier than checkin time and later on Saturday when we left. Was clean and the beds were comfy, good location short cab or walking distance to central locations.

Front desk was not knowledgeable. Didn’t have prayer services ,as was told that there would be. No memorial candles to light for the holiday. Not enough candles to light for the start of the holiday. Schedule of times for prayer services and meals, were not publicized in a timely fashion

The breakfast was absolutely amazing and the swimming pool was gorgeous. The siting was fabulous for seeing Jerusalem. Best of all the staff were so kind and helpful. When we were stranded by our flight cancellation they let us have the room until 4pm.

The hotel's gym is large and well-equipped but worn and not in line with the hotel's other facilities. It lacks towels and other amenities.
The hotel is beautiful, fresh, and has an ambitious art collection. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The rooms are fresh. The location is excellent. The pool area is nice.

Our room was very small and many of the rooms are an odd shape because of the structure of the building. The sheets were not changed until asked. Front desk staff not super accommodating.
Great location. Beautiful lobby. Great pool. Good amount of closet space in the room. Yummy breakfast.
