How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nothing, it is a simple hotel that offers value for money. It was simple and maybe a little run down in the corners but clean and welcoming.
Exceptional value for money. Facilities are clean and welcoming, the place was quiet and nice. Location wise, near the big shopping mall in the industrial area so you will need a car to get around but that is true for every location that is not in the center of eilat. It was easy to come and go and free parking is available.

I liked the value for money. Good price for diving weekend in Eilat. Mor (the owner) is very nice, approachable and helpful

No dishes or cutlery. Bring your own paper cups. Audibility between rooms.
Friendly owner. Easy check-in and check-out. Located close to a supermarket and BIG shopping center. Free parking. Value for money.

The room isn’t that big and the bathroom was a bit small but very very very manageable and it wasn’t necessarily bad but just a point.
It was nice, the value for the money was really great, the location was what we needed and everything was very clean and comfortable. It was really everything we needed and it was great.

The window shade didn't keep the morning sun out.
The price was very good, great value. Basic room, but we didn't want or expect something fancy. We had air-conditioning, hot water, cable TV and a private bathroom. We just wanted a clean place to sleep, so we were satisfied.

Location is a bit far, not too bad. I was mainly walking, and had no problem to get to downtown.
Great place for 1-3 night stay! Host was super super helpful, friendly staff, very easy to get it. Room was super clean and quiet. Just note it's about 20 minutes walk from the center: keep that in mind if you don't have a car, and planning to book in the summer (it's hot).

Furniture is old and scruffy, shower water goes all around the floor, smell of weed around the common area
When I looked for accommodation it was a cheapest option in Eilat. For 1 night I didn't care and booked being ready for the worst. And to my surprise it was actually alright. Furniture sure have seen better days but bed was comfortable, parking, BIG shopping centre right outside, 20 min on foot to the sea, located in industrial zone which is absolutely quite at night, lovely host, kitchen with fridge, towels. What else would you want? If you are on a tight budget highly recommend.

I recommend you to stay here wherever you want to stay in Eilat as it is very clean,quite place,very kind and helpful staff and most specially it is few steps in BIG,where you can find the outlet for shopping.You can find everything that you need and we really enjoyed staying here and me and my friend probably come back in the future.

There is some facilities can be better like the shower was not sealed but not really bother us

Backyard is basically a dump of the trade centre, so early morning starts with the sound of loading operations. We were unlucky to have a bunch of really loud youngsters as other tenants on the floor, partying all night long.
The host is super nice and helping. If you come for shopping it's the best choice as the hostel is within the trading area. It could also be the quietest place at night, as there's nothing working around.

The place is in bad shape and furnished with the absolute minimum. Two single beds with uncomfortable spring mattresses, peeling walls, everything kind of falling apart. Smells like cigarettes. Drunk people shouting in the hallway at 5am. Pretty outrageous price for what we got (we did book last minute during a holiday, but still).
Easy to find, quiet area, clean enough.
