I generally judge the standard of a hotel by the size and comfort of their bath towels - bigger and thicker would be nice. Also, some toiletries would be appreciated: shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, etc., and maybe a bottle of mineral water each.

We returned to the Astoria for Pessach and Seder Night, after an absence of many years. The hotel has been beautifully expanded and renovated in a style that feels welcoming and family-orientated. A lot of thought was clearly invested in its planning to include quiet reading corners, an acoustic ceiling making the dining area quiet, plenty of conveniently placed power points in the bedroom, a comfortable bed, and lots of storage space for clothes. The Seder table was thoughtfully set up with a seder plate, wine, matzo and salt water for each family. Thank you.

Our room had several malfunctions: - The A.C couldn't be turned off. - The hair dryer in the shower did not worked. - The safe did not worked. - The lock of the left door of the balcony can not be locked. - All TV channel does not look good.

External building is a bit run down. The food was average, a fitness center would have boosted the rating.

This is a wonderful and really high-quality Jewish Hotel near Gennesaret lake. The hotel is absolutely wonderful because there is a Jewish woman at the reception who can speak 7 different languages and she talks about different things wonderfully and wisely. Likewise, the kitchen staff is wonderful under the leadership of the kitchen manager, and the kitchen manager will dance with you when he dances Shalom Shalom. And the hotel has a great swimming pool where children can have fun. I will come back.

As soon as we came in, we were greeted with such warmth and care. At the reception, we immediately got our room and received a much larger room we paid for. The room was beautiful, perfectly clean, with a beautiful view. Whatever we asked for, we got right away. The service was perfect. In the morning, they took care of us. Made us coffee even though it was after breakfast. The staff was so kind and friendly. They took care of all of our needs. Eden made us coffee around 4 times and was so hospitable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who is traveling up north.

Property is further from waterfront (the main attraction in Tiberias) than i expected. We drove there (yes, it's very busy and no parking). This is really not a negative comment, just manage your expectations.

Room was spacious, clean, with balcony. Breakfast was very good was lots of choices. We only stayed one night and not in peak travel season , so the place was very quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. Free parking.

Good value for the money, nice, clean and cozy room. Comfortable beds, location is nice in a quiet neighborhood, not much options for a view but overall we are very satisfied and we'll be back for sure.

the bed had only 2 single blankets even due that the bad was double size, so it wasn't comfortable for a couple. some of the channels on the t.v didn't looked tuned. a.c have very short working time and very long pauses between each working cycle.there are lots of disturbing noises from outside the room which coms up from the lobby downstairs, it really bothered.

The hotel upgraded us to a suite room which was bigger, good looking with a balcony to the pool. the bath was Luxurious. the inner hotel looks very good, clean, modern and tidy.there is good mini refrigerator and nice lights.
