How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Great location, super friendly and helpful staff. When I arrived they upgraded me to junior suite with a sea view, so that was a nice bonus. The bed was very comfortable.

Everything was absolutely fine and we had no reason to complain about anything.
The breakfast was delivered to our room every morning. The manager Isaac and his staff were all supportive and made us very welcome. They were all friendly and helpful and we would certainly return to Renoma on any future visits.

I’d rather have a bathtub, not a shower.
Comfortable and beautiful room (we were upgraded to a suite - which was a great surprise - But I saw the original room and it’s exactly the same design and standard, but smaller). Room was spotless clean, located in a historical renovated building, with great design, and SUPER friendly staff. 50 meters from the beach, and walking distance from numerous restaurants and bars. Highly recommended!!

I booked the king suite and was given an upgrade to a suite and I had a sea view- it was fabulous! Room was great. The staff offered me a bike which I ride daily along the esplanade across the road from the hotel. It was so wonderful. The atrium is stunning with the hanging indoor garden

I liked everything - be mindful it's next to a busy area. It wasnt a problem for me and the noise level was quite low but if you are sensitive to noise it may be a problem.
I really loved everything about this hotel - The staff was amazing and very helpful. The location is also perfect. Only a few meters from the beach and right above the best wine bar in Tel Aviv (and a great coffee shop too). The room was of a decent size in Tel Aviv standards. Bonus point for the little breakfast box provided every morning. I wasnt expected it because it's not advertised on Booking but loved this kind gesture. It's definitely one of the best experiences I had. Although the hotel doesnt have a gym they give you free access to an amazing gym just around the corner - which in my opinion is much better as usually hotel lacks good gym equipment.

This was our second stay at Renoma and we loved everything. Location is perfect, parking is comfortable (very important in Tel Aviv), the staff is amazing and upgraded us to a large suite. Highly recommend this hotel!

We liked everything. The staff is amazing and so friendly and accommodating, the service was outstanding. Upon our arrival, a bottle of Prosecco awaited us in the room, which was spacious and beautiful. In the morning, we received a breakfast box with delicious pastry, bread, jam, juice, and grapes, and they ordered us coffee from the downstairs cafe free of charge. I’ve never encountered such hospitality. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Staff and service are the best! So friendly- even left us a Happy Anniversary card with wine. They set up a beach tent for us, got us dinner reservations, some free drinks at the bar. The room itself was amazing with beautiful views.
