Everything! The serene location, the ruins of the castle that were preserved, the original antique furniture, the blazing fire in the fireplace, the majestic wallpapers, the hallway with renessaince paintings, the mysterious fog on the fields and I could go on… all this made sure we had a timeless and unique once in a lifetime experience spending our 4th anniversary in an actual Castle!!! We spent a night there solving a detective game and had an absolute blast! The ambient was just perfect and we left with memories that we will cherish forever! Also, I want to say thank you to our wonderful Host Sean who was available via email and answered all my questions within minutes. He greated us in person and was very friendly explaining us a few things. We thank you again for creating such an unparalleled experience sharing the Castle with the public and for keeping such good care of it!

Quiet and definitely the land had a history. Sean was amazing and greeted us kindly, he told us about the place and history. We had the Butler room and it was very welcoming and definitely had an apartment type feel as advertised. We walked the property and explored, very serene and beautiful.

All was good.

The Castle was easy to find, we always use the post code on our GPS. The car park is directly outside. The Host was waiting for us as we pulled into the parking lot. The rooms are very large with plenty of space. We were shown all the features of the place. It had good Wi-Fi. Good place to stay, very quiet and comfortable and close to town.

The apartment was huge, very spacious for our family. Loved how it was decorated. Most comfortable beds during our entire stay in Ireland. Hosts were kind and had a printed list of local restaurants. The castle and grounds are stunning. A bit far out but well worth it! I will be back!

The apartment and grounds were absolutely beautiful and well maintained. The check in was easy and super friendly. Views from every window made for picturesque scenes and then being able to make a roaring fire at the night was just ideal.

Heating was tricky to work out the following day. Followed the instructions but couldn’t get it working. Fortunately the warmth from the night before lingered.

Stunning location and accommodation. We were lucky enough to have the castle all to ourselves. Absolutely loved our stay. Wandered the property at dusk and soaked up the rural Irish countryside with a glass of wine in hand. I stayed in the Furlong room and loved the claw bath and fire, so relaxing and cosy. My father stayed upstairs in his own apartment and absolutely loved it. Bed was very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped for cooking an evening meal. Perfect for a stay out in the countryside. Taxi from Enniscorthy was quick and efficient. Highly recommended.

Amazing property. This renovated castle is beautiful. The three-bed apartment was stunning. Wish we could have stayed there longer. The gardens are lovely, with a gorgeous stream out back. This was our favourite accommodation during our month-long holiday.

The stairs!! Very difficult for my 90 year old mother in law! My fault for not making sure we had a down stairs suite or if there was a lift

The two chairs and benches in the kitchen for dining were not comfortable. One of the chars was unstable, so my husband had to sit on the bench.

The castle and property are beautiful. The apartment we were in was large and beautifully appointed with art and furnishings. The beds were so comfortable and so was the sofa. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans, etc. for cooking and had a nice sized refrigerator. The views all around were lovely.
