The hotel is situated on a main street so it was very noisy. There was a man with a leaf blower at 8am in the morning and the night before you had the noise from the pubs so not the place for a quiet stay.

The staff were lovely and always seems very busy. The room was lovely. We ate there when we arrived and the food was lovely. The breakfast the next morning was lovely too.

The hotel is on Clifden’s main street, so you can hear noise (music from the pub in the evening, cars passing by…).

Central location. Spacious and clean rooms and bathroom. Friendly staff. Excellent and plentiful breakfast.

I’m not a fan of fabric shower curtains, even if they are clean and the cold water pressure was very poor. We had practically none when trying to brush teeth. These are minor gripes that wouldn’t put me off booking again.

Great location, one side overlooks the Main Street, the other overlooks the beautiful estuary. Staff were all lovely, room was very comfortable and breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely hotel in a centre of Clifden. Food amaazing. Staff friendly, Everyone is kind, hospitable, and they really trying to please their guests. A pet-friendly hotel. If you need a break and are thinking about visiting the Wild Atlantic Way, I highly recommend it. So many amazing places to visit.

Bathrooms in bedrooms could do with face-lift.

Pricing is...odd. Huge price difference between a double room for 2 and an identical room for single use.

Great location in the centre of town. Lots of eating and drinking options nearby. Breakfast was plentiful and staff were lovely.

The bedding was of poor quality and need to be improved, especially the single bed which had a very sagging matress and an almost briken box-spring.

The bathroom is very dated with a wobbly rail to hold onto when climbing in the bath. One thing I can’t stand is a shower curtain, I don’t know why I seem to always wear it and spend more time unpeeling myself than washing. Parking is street parking and hard to get, but once you find a spot it cost €1.80 from 4pm until 11.30am.

There is no lift but luckily we were given a room on the 1st floor and was helped upstairs by 2 staff. The room was nice with a double and a single so we both slept well. Not the most comfortable mattress but not the worst. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the main Street. The view from the breakfast room is stunning, as is the breakfast all cooked to order.

Mattress needed renewing in room 8. One of the window blinds had an electrical wire connector attached, which just needed a blind replacement. Everything else was perfect.

No lift and no parking. Staff were very willing to carry bags up stairs. All room face the square not the river valley and harbour.

No parking at hotel. Bathroom door would not stay open so a mildew scent in bathroom. The views were in the hallway and rooms had street view
