How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

A wonderful, peaceful and peaceful place for both short and long stays in Dublin. A kitchen equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay for guests, comfortable beds, two bathrooms make the apartment very comfortable for a family holiday. Many thanks to the management team for their unobtrusive service and understanding of the current situation of the guests.

All was good, would suggest to add few hooks in the bathroom.
Nice, quiet location in 5 minutes walk to bus stop and DART station. Despite of late arrival we were met by the host. The apartment is clean and has all required for comfortable stay.

It would be helpful if the information about the nearest DART being Lansdowne Road was included with the online information.
Louise and Arthur were wonderful. They were very helpful and informative in every engagement with them. From the first time that we made contact with Louise about making a booking, we were made to feel comfortable. Louise and Arthur were professional and welcoming.

Louise earlier mentioned in writing that all their units were at ground level which was not true. Try to request the exact photo of the unit you are booking. Don’t accept a generic photo. This becomes very important at the end because there are multiple types with stairs and others at ground level. Unit 19 at the back of the building is older compared to the rest of the units.
We stayed at Baggot Rath apartments for a week. I think the service by Arthur and Monique was really great after a miscommunication on what the accomodation provided. They worked hard to resolve an issue over the weekend.

The only issue we had was how long it took to get to city center. It takes about 1 hour to walk and 30-40 minutes by bus or Dart.
The property was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. It was very quiet neighborhood.

Having to go through all of the security points to get to the apartment. We felt bad having to call either Arthur or Louise to get access to the carpark.
Unfortunately, we didn’t end up staying in this apartment as the previous occupants left a tap on and flooded it! Fortunately, we were relocated to another more modern apartment in Dublin 1 which worked out better for us travelling around. Arthur and Louise went out of their way to make our stay pleasant.

Water issue: if one uses the dishwasher or uses hot water for a few minutes, no cold water comes from the kitchen tap. We would have appreciated some hooks in the bathrooms as well as a light above the mirror in the en-suite bathroom, to shave with ease. Although we knew that there was shower over bath, this proved to be very impractical for my elderly mother.
Very clean and neat apartment in a lovely location. We enjoyed the kitchen and the ample spaces.

A little difficult to figure out how to work the television.
