Loved our 2 night stay here. Brand new hotel in a renovated historic building. Excellent location. Stayed in the Master Bedroom which was in the original building. Beautiful large and elegant room and bathroom with AC. Jacob at the front desk was so helpful with tour recommendations and directions and restaurant reservations. The breakfast was delicious. Everything! Breakfast was fab, huge choice for a continental breakfast from overnight oats, smoked salmon, cold cuts, breads, pastries....loved the health shots every morning, a nice touch! And both girls serving us were lovely, very friendly and great baristas too.

I couldn't rhink of any negative points

A little gem of a hotel , decor is an exceptional standard . A mix of old and new feel to it that work perfectly together. The bathroom was the highlight for me , pure luxury ! It's hard to believe it's only open 8 weeks . Great location bang in the middle of Dungarvan. It's really handy to go exploring, but you don't experience the noise that you would expect for being so central . The continental breakfast was plentiful, and the healthy shot of the day was a great idea . The owners are very much visible getting stuck in and making sure all guests are enjoying their Hatmaker experience. All the staff are very helpful and efficient with a big smile and greeting for everyone. Best wishes and continued success to all at The Hatmaker for creating such a haven in a beautiful part of the country.

Limited privacy in first floor rooms, no plugs in the bathroom, windows cant open because curtains were installed over them but the hotel is new, they will fix these things

Nothing not to dislike, one small observation is the bed linen is very heavy for the hot summer nights we are enjoying.

Newly opened, apparently only operational for 5 week, this boutique hotel has been decorated to the highest standards and is very conveniently located just off the main square. Continental breakfast of the highest equality. Only passing through and staying one night but wished stat was longer.

To be completely honest, there was nothing we disliked about The Hatmaker. I was genuinely delighted with every aspect of our stay. The hotel is beautifully designed and very comfortable and the level of service was outstanding. The staff truly bent over backwards to ensure we had everything we needed and the presence of the two owners on site added a real sense of authenticity and care. Their hands-on approach and personal attention to guests made the experience feel warm and genuine in a way that larger hotels often lack

What I particularly liked about The Hatmaker Hotel was the unique blend of style, comfort and hospitality it offers right in the heart of Dungarvan. This beautiful boutique hotel is a much-needed addition to the town, which I know well and its presence has elevated the local hospitality scene. The interiors are exquisitely decorated with an eclectic style that combines a slightly vintage charm with a modern twist, creating an expensive feel that remains warm and inviting. The beds are of a very high quality and are extremely comfortable, ensuring a restful stay. With the town quite literally on your doorstep, the location is unbeatable for exploring all that Dungarvan has to offer. No need for Uber here! The warm Irish hospitality is alive and well at this hotel, thanks to the owners, Rebecca and David Burke, who are so friendly yet entirely professional, contributing greatly to the overall experience. Staff members Aoibheann and Amy were a true delight and went above and beyond in helping my elderly mum choose from the breakfast menu with great patience and genuine care that was both touching and deeply appreciated.

It was very disappointing that there was no hot food at all for breakfast. We paid B&B and expected a descent breakfast, not just bread.

Beautiful little hotel, stay was wonderful. Service was amazing - kind, attentive, but relaxed. Room was spotless and bed was out-of-this~world comfortable with high quality bedding. I was so cozy I overslept by 2 hours! Fresh, delicious breakfast topped things off. A++ highly recommend.

The toiletries in the bathroom were really lovely. It would have been even nicer to see an Irish toiletries company supported.

Location is excellent. Breakfast was tasty and well presented. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It was great to be able to store our bikes overnight on the premises. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. Check out time of 12 is very generous.
