We stayed at the hotel while attending a wedding and had a truly enjoyable experience. Our room was beautifully decorated, with a very comfortable bed and a sense of calm that provided the perfect retreat from the busy atmosphere of the main hotel. Check-in was quick and seamless. The real highlight of our stay, however, was breakfast. Cooked fresh to order, it was not only delicious but also one of the best breakfast experiences we’ve ever had in Ireland. What made it exceptional was the service from Susan. She was warm, friendly, and genuinely engaging, and she elevated the whole experience with her attentiveness and charm. Susan’s hospitality turned breakfast into a real highlight of our trip, and we left feeling looked after and cared for. Thanks to her, along with the comfort of the hotel, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

The bedroom was warm and I opened the beautiful sash window. The subsequent breeze caused the door to rattle. I needed to jam it with some paper. Not a dislike really.

The house is beautifully decorated and was calm and welcoming when I came to check in. There are 3 sitting rooms if you wish to leave your room to read or make a phone call etc

There was nothing that I didn't like about the place. One room (of the 6 we booked) had an issue with the lock, but the staff sorted that as quickly as they could.

The Armada House was extremely comfortable. Each room was special and had a unique character. The breakfast was magnificent - the food fresh and delicious, the service wonderful. We loved it. We even received a loaf of bread to take with us. The building itself is lovely and right across from the bigger Armada Hotel - which was an easy walk right across the street. The Armada Hotel offered 2 restaurants and a wonderful pub. The food was excellent. We felt as if we had the best of all worlds - we stayed at the smaller, boutique Armada House, but still had access to fine dining, pub, music, and a place to sit oceanfront right across the street. The staff at both were kind and gracious, and they were always trying to make our stay extra special. I will definitely return to the Armada House.

The house was beautiful. Kelly and the rest of the staff were terrific. The breakfast was amazing. Dinner across the way in the pub of the sister hotel was all we could ask for. Highly recommend staying here

Loved all the little touches - the treat at turndown, the bread on departure and everything in between! Walking through the doors was a treat in itself it's simply stunning.

Extremely efficient and friendly staff. Niall was very understanding and ensured my ninety year old Dad had a wonderful stay. Breakfast was fantastic and served by the delightful Kitty.The delicious brown bread, as a parting gift, a lovely idea. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Armada House.

There was a smelly drain situation, which was resolved once we advised the receptionist. The TV did not work in the room, they use international remotes and even after being replaced the maintenance man couldn’t get it working which was a shame as we like to relax and watch tv in bed. I overheard the receptionist offering a discounted price for another room that had plumbing issues. We were not offered anything, but I also didn’t bring it up on checkout.

The property has a really comfortable feel about it. We felt very relaxed our whole time there. The log fires and lounge area was our favourite
