We were very happy with Parkway Guesthouse, our host Seamus was very attentive and saw to all our needs. We visited Dublin last weekend for the Oasis concert, and the guesthouse was very convenient and close to the concert venue. On the whole, everything was perfect! We would most definitely stay there again.

Very short walk to O'Connell Bridge and the hub of Dublin but far enough away it became quiet and peaceful once at the hotel. The reception was very friendly and catered to any request i had effectively.

The room was small, but hey...it had everything I needed. There was coffee and tea , a place to hang/put the clothes and a very comfortable bed, I slept so good. Noisereduction was perfect. As soon as I had closed the window I did not hear any noise at all. The room was being cleaned every day and enough towels were being supplied. No breakfast, but in the morning there was orange juice, fruit and brownies/cookies and some kind of applecake. I arrived in the evening and a staffmember was so kind as to bring my suitcase to the room, which was very nice as I had to climb a few stairs to come to my room. To be honest, the place could use some renovation (e.g. new flooring and furniture), but when I go back to Dublin I will sure book my room here again, because all the above mentioned positive experiences makes it all good. :-)

Would have liked a hairdryer in the room but not a huge deal to me.

Clean, quiet, good location. Seamus the proprietor is very friendly & amenable. I could drop my bags off early & leave them after checkout till later. This is a lovely welcoming accommodation in Dublin & wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Seamus is an amazing host. Always ready to help but never intrusive. I forgot the UK plug and he was ready to borrow me one. Even though breakfast was not included, muffins, biscuits and fruits welcome us each morning. Position is just a 15 minutes walk from the city centre. Little but cozy room, what you need for a trip to Dublin.

Street-facing rooms are a bit noisy. The area was safe, did feel a bit edgy at times.

Staff was very friendly, had some nice chats. Also very flexible to keep luggage on check-out day. Facilities quite okay given price point and expensiveness of accomodations in Dublin. Good connection to buses and trams.

A little bit pricey for our pockets, considering it is an old and creaky building, but I guess it's just Dublin prices, not us. Also, no fridge in the room.

The staff was always very friendly and wanted to help. Although there was no regular breakfast in that sense of the word, there were some snacks that we could take to nibble on during our sightseeing. Also, we could leave our luggage at the premises until our flight in the afternoon.

    I loved everything.

Best night in Dublin! Warm and cozy bedroom with good quality toiletries and clean fresh towels. One extra bed was available if needed. Breakfast was delicious and variety of food and fruit was available. Best location, we walked to the city centre. Near to everything! Staff was the best part, so kind ad loving! My parents didn't understand English but felt the nice and loving energy from staff. They are eager to come back to this accommodation. We all loved it :)

No elevator - to get to the top floor you need to walk 6 long flights of stairs, however the owner brought our bags up. No tables or nightstands - when we needed to plug-in a provided tea kettle, we had to store it on the carpeted floor.

Good location within 15-20 minutes from the city center. Our top floor room was quiet with two comfortable beds.

There are stairs to climb with luggage. I packed light, but it could be an issue if you are not used to stairs in accommodation. perhaps this could be included in the description?

The location was good. The bed is comfortable, towels and premises clean, daily clean towels, etc. There was no noise during the week but a bit of noise on the weekend both from the street and as guests arrived. All very acceptable and otherwise quiet. TV had limited stations but if you carry laptop or device you can watch on that. Wifi worked well.
