Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

A great night away with the family, absolutely everything provided, right down to the cutlery. The place was so clean and quiet. The host kept us up to date at all times. The location was perfect and close to all. Will 100% be back!

The Stairs, my sister fell from the last two steps, it is very difficult to see the last step as it blends in with the colour of the floor, so you don’t realise that there is another step down .
Everything, beds so comfortable, shower downstairs was so large and always hot water, outside area was great with the picnic tables, beautiful house.

The cleaner had been in prior but the floors were filthy and not hoovered and there was dirty kids sick on the floor in the lounge.

All was perfect
Everything about the house was perfect. I had everything you needed. Everything was explained and hosts were in touch checking in and providing all necessary instructions. I wrote a massive lengthy review and lost it - so this is short and sweet but I have already recommended not just Glenside abbey - but uk affordable properties ltd to friends and family as this stay was perfect and probably the best kept house we have stayed in. Exclusive area is definitely worth booking - our kids had the best time. Location is excellent - tranquil but a short walk to town. Thanks for everything.

Couldn't find anything I didn't like 😁
I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY TO STAY IN. IT IS JUST FABULOUS, SPOTLESS CLEAN, BEAUTIFUL VIEWS, EASY TO ACCESS AND THE INSTRUCTIONS RE USING EVERYTHING IN THE VILLA WERE SPOT ON, COULD NOT FAULT IT AT ALL. DEFINITELY BOOK THE EXCLUSIVE AREA, WORTH EVERY PENNY. WE WILL DEFINITELY GO BACK AND STAY LONGER NEXT TIME 😁

No faults.
Property is so modern & spacious. It is walking distance to the main town & walking distance to the beach. So many brilliant facilities in the property. This was our second time staying and we genuinely had no faults at all. We entered the house and it was spotless. Perfect for families or friend groups who want to go away and relax. Will definitely be back for a third time.

A few creaky noises throughout the night, might just be an old building and I’m a light sleeper. Other than that which can’t really be helped all was brilliant!

It gets cold quite quickly when the heating goes off.
Host was very helpful and the house was spotless. The hot tub area was very impressive.

Beautiful property, pristine condition, so modern and bright yet lovely traditional character retained, love the windowsills! We really appreciated all the details. The villa was a brilliant base to explore Innishowen, and it was a lovely warm welcoming place to return to on rainy days! Extremely reasonably priced also. Would highly recommend this accomodation and hope to return again ourselves soon!
