There was nothing we did not like.

The location within Doolin was conveniently placed, close to local shops, pubs, and Cliffs of Moher.The views were lovely. The bed was comfortable and very clean, as was the bathroom. The deco is modern and warm. Deirdre, the hostess, was very responsive and helpful with local knowledge. The breakfast was freshly prepared and very generous, with many options. The self check in gave us the freedom to arrive in our own time. Overall, it was an excellent stay.

That we had to leave!

Exceptional welcome by lovely Deirdre and friendly staff. Beautiful, comfortable, very clean room, great shower, soft towels, little touches - and that was just the small room! Wonderful breakfast, and tea, coffee, biscuits available all day. Plus the views and walks around the property, and then the short walk to the pubs. A bus stop is also nearby. All in all, perfect!

Everything was perfect

Outside it seems like a regular Irish building but in fact is a hospitality heaven! As we were late we found the keys and our room easily!Inside the room had all the amenities and more( like Q-tips and hair scrunchies).Also we had the softest towels ever! In the lounge we found complimentary coffee and cookies as well. The location is perfect only 5’ walk to pubs and the view AMAZING! Last but not least the breakfast!Jams, scones, fruits, cereals and also a menu to choose your main dish! Congrats to the owner!

Deidre has created a wonderful guest house with nicely decorated rooms including a sitting room with coffee, tea and books to read and a lovely dining room. The breakfast buffet and hot breakfasts she prepared for guests were the best!!

The location is great near pubs and restaurants. The accommodation was second to none everything was done to a very high standard and top class quality. The breakfast which was cooked by the fabulous host Deirdre had so much choice and was exceptional. The standard and quality of a 5* Hotel . We will definitely be booking again for our next trip to Doolin

There was nothing that we did not like.

Everything was lovely. Deirdre, our host warmly greeted us at arrival. She helped us with our luggage and showed us around the common areas and told us where we could always find tea and biscuits. The room was very nice and quite spacious. She made recommendations to us for dinner at a nearby pub that we were able to walk to and hear wonderful trad music. For breakfast, the selections were all delicious. Deirdre even lit a candle on my husband’s pancakes and came kit singing happy birthday to him. We will definitely stay at Mountain Aven if we ever get another chance to come to Ireland.

The B&B is quite close to the road, so we heard some traffic late in the evening and early in the morning, but it was calm during the night. In the morning, we could also hear the staff preparing breakfast.

Finally a nice and modern bathroom! Breakfast was okay and the host was warm and welcoming. Very good value for money!

Super clean and modern place with a very comfy atmosphere. Great and friendly host Deirdre who made us feel very welcome. Superb breakfast the best we had during our trip in Ireland all prepared with great care. Nice location with two pubs within walking distance and very handy for visiting the Cliffs of Moher.
