I would suggest heavier curtains in two of the bedrooms to facilitate good sleep.

Beautiful accommodation. Feels like a home rather than a rental property. Everything required was there; a well equipped kitchen, and even towels in the bathrooms.

Parking was a bit frustrating. The driveway can easily accommodate 4-5 cars without blocking the private areas, but guest parking was restricted to 2 cars. This didn't suit us as we had 4 cars, travelling from different parts of the country. 2 cars were parked up the village. Eventhough very close, it was an inconvenience we didnt expect given the large driveway. Provision of a wheelie bin would be helpful so we could empty the waste bin once full. Minor thing.

House was spotless, comfy beds and almost all appliance provided. The house was very cosy and spacious rooms. The host kindly accommodated a 15 min early arrival to support an online work call. The house is short walk to the village

Moor house was amazing. Such good value for money the house was spotless and had everything you could need for a short stay. The local area had lovely shops and restaurants and was a doable distance from Gorey. Pauline was a super host, such excellent communication from the getgo and throughout and she kindly facilitated a late check out. All and all a fabulous stay.

Only one small under the sink bin available for waste, it would be helpful to have access to an outdoor wheelie bin especially for food products to not attract further ants and insects. For other future reference, the house can host 6 adults but only 2 parking spaces, which we were only informed about after having paid for an unrefundable booking it would have been more helpful to know in advance as from the pictures it looks like it can host 4 or 5. Although the house was clean, we later discovered dozens of ants roaming the kitchen, see photos attached to review, and found that the owners had already placed two ant traps in the kitchen, another in the hallway, a clear indication that they were aware of an issue, yet no warning was given prior to my arrival. As a result, I was forced to dispose of a food and drinks which we had left on the counter as we set the table, which was both inconvenient and disappointing. Upon addressing the matter with the guesthouse owners, I was met with a defensive and unhelpful attitude. They initially denied that the problem was bad, despite the photos and videos I provided that clearly showed dozens of ants on the floor and in the sink. They eventually acknowledged that a similar issue had occurred around this time last year during good weather. Instead of offering a proper solution, they merely refunded €20 for the lost food. It would be helpful to have a lock on the bathroom doors as they would blow open if the bathroom window was open, which led to some embarrassing moments. As other reviews mentioned, the bed springs were quite uncomfortable in 2 of the beds.

The location was great, only a 2 minute drive or a 10 minute walk to the village, close to the beach. The house was very clean, there was a dishwasher available and a large American fridge with ice in the freezer when we arrived. In the heat, it was appreciated. There was a lovely outdoor seating area at both the front and back of the property. The decor is lovely, and there are plates, cutlery, and many kitchen appliances available. There are two large bathrooms, one upstairs with a bath and shower, downstairs, and had a shower with a stool for accessibility. One of the double bedrooms was downstairs, which was great for one of our guests with mobility issues. There are 2 free parking spaces on the drive.

It was cold and damp, smell of smoking in the sitting room.

It was cold and damp albeit was Jan. Only allocated 5 hours heating which they controlled any more heating required was 10 euro per hour.

Was not enough hot water due to being on a timer. One tank is not enough for 6 people to shower, two had a hot shower and the rest had a cold shower. Bed is really uncomfortable, like sleeping on springs.
