How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We had a little trouble using washer, but that could have been our inexperience with that type of washer.
Location excellent with beautiful backyard views. Apartment was spacious and nicely decorated. Full kitchen was available.

Gerhard gave us 11am checkout time then changed it to 10 am, I requested 11:30 and this wasn’t given , because of the early checkout We couldn’t throw utensils in dishwasher and empty out kids nappies from bins or make beds etc so she rang and said we could have done cleaning the night before (as if we weren’t on holiday) and now have to pay extra for cleaning. When I said cleaning fee isn’t something I agreed on she has now sent a message via booking.com to say some stuff is broken as well and we need to pay 100€. She was very rude over phone , and I pray to God she gets some peace. Would recommend clear pre agreement with host about cleaning fee and checkout time.
House was nice, clean and spacious. Ample parking space.

Many amenities/ appliances were broken, and the cleaning crew (who, granted, apparently were new and probably not yet up to speed) had not cleaned the towels or run the dishwasher.
The house was very quiet and well located.

The ONLY (and this is very minor) thing is that the time we were there, it was very warm and there isn't a good way to get air circulation in the house. We opened windows to get some cross breezes flowing, but a few fans would help just to move air through the house a bit. However, we did fine and it was definitely not bad enough that we wouldn't stay here again even at the same time of year.
Very clean and roomy spaces. Far enough away from things that it wasn't noisy or busy but close enough to get things you need easily. Large living area which had plenty of room for our family to sit around and hang out. Room upstairs for the kids to do kid stuff while the adults relaxed downstairs on the large couches.

Excellent property with a great location. This worked really well for us space wise. We were a group golfing and it was really clean and comfortable.

I stayed only one night, but I'll be back !
It is an amazing place. Very spacious, extremely well equipped and very clean. It is nicely hidden from the road noise and when you open back windows you see the most spectacular views on Kerry Mountains. Owners very friendly , very easy to communicate and willing to help.

No! Driveway is tight but made well aware by host..adds to the privacy of the location.
Most beautiful house & location. So modern, fantastic use of natural light, & unusual layout. Gerhard was outstanding in his communication, directions & welcome. Exceptional find.

We traveled as a group of 10 to a family wedding in Killorglin , 10 mins away. The property was amazing, with enough space and bedrooms to allow us to have a very enjoyable stay . ( 3 nights) . There was lots of pots of tea made and chats by the fire , while the younger cousins got to play table tennis and watch movies .When the clouds finally lifted , the view was breathtaking. We hope to stay there again in the future.

It's difficult to find. GPS often mistook the Eircode for a lodge in Beaufort. We got lost twice, but that is not the property's fault. It would be helpful to find a more exact location description if possible. The entry to the property is hard to see from the road. It could use some visual aid to help. We learned to slow down to a crawl to watch for it, but cars honked at us. 🤭
The house was a luxury of space that traveling as a family really was needed!
