We attended a wedding and the location was excellent. I loved the openness of the lobby and bar and the view out to the garden. The room was large and spotless and beds were like sleeping on a cloud. The staff were very friendly and professional.

The room and the room service are needing to improve. We ran out of coffee in day 2 and had to chase. We ran out of towels on the 3rd day and had to chase. Both these due to room service issues.8u87

The majority of the staff were excellent. The room was fine but needed a freshen-up. The food was good although breakfast was ordinary.

Lovely one night stay, all of it was excellent 👌 The room, the food and the spa. We had our 4 Month old with us and the staff were brilliant with helping us out. Will definitely be back

The location was a bit far from the city centre or other attractions. It made for costly cab rides. The pullout bed mattress was extremely uncomfortable.

It is a beautiful property with an incredible staff. We really enjoyed the welcome bottle to share. Pool, sauna, steam room all very nice. Restaurant has excellent food.

Only downside was that we were only staying one night.

A warm welcome and lovely surprise with a room upgrade (inc a chilled bottle of Prosecco). Very comfortable bed with lots of amenities. The best hotel breakfast ever and a lovely morning in the Thermal Spa which was clean and well appointed. Great job Maryborough, we will be back.

Beautiful property. The beds were very comfortable. My child loved swimming in the pool at the Leisure Center and playing mini golf. Our dinner at the onsite bar was excellent. My husband loved the Gym, Jacuzzi, Sauna and Steamroom.

There is a little refurbishment going on to some of the bedrooms at present but disruption to guests was kept to a minimum and this did not affect the enjoyment of our stay.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent in choice and quality. We had dinner in the bar which was good. the gardens and grounds were well maintained and we had drinks on the patio.

What's not to like! Nothing

As always, it was such a pleasure from the minute I went in the door to the time I left. i had a lovely note and bottle of prosecco in my room thanking me for choosing the maryborough! The staff are so well trained in hospitality and service ...so professional and attentive the room was stunning and spotless even though there was a wedding on the bar and rooms were so tranquil...grounds are fabulous..I had a facial in the spa with Ruby she was amazing at her job so professional...the thermal suite is wonderful...I could go on and on...and of course the food was delicious and very reasonably priced and portions were very large! I love going to the maryborough ...I'll be booking again very soon .very hard to beat.

One indoor swimming pool enclosure was very hot and steamy - great if you like saunas but you couldn't sit back and read a book. The other, also being in a small enclosed space, was painfully loud with screaming out-of-control children.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was large and comfortable. Grounds were lovely. Facilities very good.

The water pressure in the shower was also quite low, which made it a bit tricky to rinse shampoo out of long hair – not a major issue, but worth mentioning.

We had a truly lovely stay at the Maryborough Hotel. The building itself is elegant and full of character, set within beautiful, well-maintained gardens that make for a peaceful and luxurious atmosphere. The entrance to the hotel and the surrounding grounds are particularly striking and really set the tone for the stay. Parking was easy and convenient, which made arrival stress-free. Our room was amazing – spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean – and the welcome prosecco and chocolates were such a thoughtful and appreciated touch. The spa was a real highlight, especially the women’s-only area, which provided a calm and relaxing space that felt like a true retreat. The spa staff were the nicest I’ve come across – incredibly welcoming and attentive, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The Zen garden was also a lovely surprise – peaceful and beautifully kept, perfect for a few moments of quiet. Dinner was of an exceptionally high standard, and the staff throughout the hotel were genuinely warm, welcoming, and helpful. The only small areas where things felt a little less polished were breakfast and the shower in our room and I wouldn't mention it outside of being asked for a review, but I think its helpful to be constructive. Breakfast was good and everything was fresh and enjoyable, but service could be a bit hit and miss during busy times. That said, we really appreciated the complimentary newspapers and the relaxed feel of the dining rooms. The staff were lovely.
