Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The facilities were exceptional. Extremely clean, spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The hosts, Tommy and Pam, were very welcoming, friendly and helpful.. We all really enjoyed our stay. The location is a beautiful, peaceful rural setting, It would be a great location as a base to visit places such as Galway, Sligo, Mayo among others due to its central position in the country.. We would highly recommend Lisalway Lodge.

We had an exceptional stay. Pam and Tommy were exemplary hosts, accommodating and friendly. Our one night stay has made us want to find a reason to come back. The room and the breakfast were both excellent.

It was PERFECT!
Everything! The welcome from Pam was very warm (even warm scones on arrival!!), our room was beautifully appointed, the bed was comfortable and the large bathroom was well supplied with beautiful accessories and soaps. Tommy and Pam put on a superb breakfast, with hot food to order and a great range of fresh fruit, yoghurt and cereals. If you are looking for comfort, aesthetic beauty and value for money, this little gem is for you!

I found no faults with this property.
The rooms were very quiet, exceptionally clean and well maintained . The irish breakfast, homemade breads and fruit bar was as good as any five star hotel. Tommy and Pamela were very helpful and friendly. They were exceptional hosts.

Nothing I didn’t like.
The property is lovely-fresh, up-to-date, bright. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious with everything you needed. Breakfast was great- homemade scones, bread, fruit salad, yogurt, cereal. There is also a fresh cooked breakfast if you want it. The owners were helpful and lovely people. There is plenty of parking. We wished we had booked for another night.

Quiet location about 15/20 minutes from Frenchpark. Lovely clean room with comfy bed. Everything was spotless. Hairdryer, kettle to make tea and coffee and large TV in room. Hosts Pam and Tommy were excellent. Fab breakfast. Highly recommended

There was nothing we didn't like, perfect for our weekend stay.
Pam and Tommy very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. We had scones on arrival and they were delicious.
