Upstairs loft stairs were a bit steep and shallow and the ceiling was very low on the edges so needed to take care getting out of bed. Just a note for others, bring what you need to eat, cook and drink as grocery store a decent drive away.

Great location with a nice view. The place was clean and instructions to get there and in the place were clear. Ten minute drive to Doolin pier and restaurant area.

Lodge was very cozy, had all the amenities to cook meals and clean up. Great water pressure! Vincent was very kind and gave us some great advice on places to go and how to get there. The Cliffs of Moher are a five minute drive away and breathtaking. He also showed us around the lodge and gave us details about how to turn on the heat, hot water etc. Chase the dog was an added unexpected bonus! 🩶

We had a wonderful stay at Island View Lodge. The place was spotless, very comfortable, and offered beautiful views of the Atlantic. The location is ideal—peaceful, yet just a short drive to Doolin village and perfect for exploring the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren. Vincent was an excellent host, welcoming and helpful with great local advice. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it.

The location is simply amazing, super close to the Cliffs of Mother and has a spectacular view on the ocean. The staff are great people, so kind, take care about their guests and have very good advice for our trip. They have the sweetest dog that welcomes you and loves cuddles. The lodge is exactly how it is in the pics. You can find anything you would need for your stay. We hope to come back one day!

Great ocean view and location. Very peaceful. Quick drive to lots of Doolin area attractions. Chase (the dog) greeted us on our way in and every morning and was a very good boy.

The hot water in the shower was a bit tricky to manage. Bathroom was big but some hooks to hang clothes would be great.

Vincent was a great host. Really appreciate his advice on the places to visit. His dog gave us a very warm welcome. The apartment was cosy and located near the scenic sites.

The location was wonderful! Victor our host, with Chase the affectionate Golden Retriever, greeted us as though we were old friends! Victor gave us some great tips on viewing the Cliffs of Moher as well as the wonderful telling us about McGann's, where a great trio of Irish musicians played into the night, one of the instruments played so wonderfully was the Uillean Pipes, amazing! The people, the food, and the music, we'll never forget!

It was a beautiful house with a lot of special details! Spectacular view and homey feeling! We got lucky to experience it with snow! Was awesome to meet the dog Chase as well! Would recommend it to anyone and very close to all the main attractions.
