Excellent location, responsive host and very comfortable house.. The kitchen is better equipped than ours! The views were amazing, the proximity to Krugers pub was handy and there was an added bonus of superb weather. Highly recommended.

It was a bit cold but there were enough electric heaters, blankets and two fireplaces so it wasn’t an issue in the long run.

The place and location were absolutely stunning. The views were breathtaking and it took about 15 minutes to reach the coast by foot. We only had contact with the host via text but they were really nice and accommodating. We loved to light the fireplaces in the evening and cook something in the fully equipped kitchen. The beds were also really comfortable and it was great to have two separate bathrooms. We would have loved to stay longer.

One of the showers, unfortunately mine, had two showerheads - one with very low water pressure, and one which burns you and cannot be changed to lower temperatures. A good shower would have made a big difference to me. Another issue was with the heating stoves - we tried lighting them up on the first night, and found out they were not working properly. The room got filled with smoke and we had to open all the windows in the house; not fun when it's quite cold outside. Lastly, while I don't need anyone greeting me at the door, it would have been nice to see the host at least once during our stay. I did get an email to check up on us, but no contact beyond that.

The location is perfect for people who are interested in being secluded from the main hotels area, but not too far away so you can always drive to Dingle for dining and shopping. The house is large and provides common areas where you can spend time together with your friends and family, including a dining area and a living room. Lastly, the remote location allows an amazing view of the night sky when there are less clouds - a real treat if you are a city dweller like myself :) For those who are interested, there is also a bar 100 meters away from the spot.

The heating was a bit tricky to figure out, maybe there should be clearer instructions on how this kind of storage heating zone system works, so it can be adjusted better and to not waste energy.

The house, the surroundings, the appliances overall were to a good standard. The house is really charmingly decorated and you feel home right away and you certainly don't want to leave! There are a couple of attractions nearby and walks can be done from the house.

I stayed only 3 nights ... that was a bad choice ... should have stayed there at least 3 weeks ! 😀

Everything was amazing, perfect location far away from hectic city...bar...1 minute walk. View from house perfect...regardless of the weather 😀 very well equipped, fire place awesome!

Not really a dislike, just suggest for foreigners unfamiliar with the water heating systems to provide instructions; similarly location of nearest food store since there isn’t really one in Dunquin

Views, accommodations, well equipped home away from home!

Garden could do with some attention as it looks a bit shabby. We had trouble identifying which house as it didn't match what the pics of the inside looks like. Doesn't do the interior justice. No tea towels, only one dishwasher tablet and an old washing sponge. Only little things really.

Amazing location. Fantastic views of the Blasket island. Spacious and warm. 1 minute walk to Krugers pub. We'll equipped kitchen and living areas. Really luxurious showers and bathrooms. Underfloor heating is lovely. Almost perfect (see small things below)

Wood burning stove in living room out of order. Small electric plug in heater not adequate for this big room. This room potentially provided the best View of the Blaskets , but unfortunately windows looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in months , so view was obscured. I felt the pick up time for key was very late at 5 pm and check out at 10 am was quite early . If you are only there for a day or two , it’s not good value for money. Most hotels/ homes have a 2 pm check in and 11/12 am checkout. I understand there needs to be time for cleaning between guests , but 7 hours seems to be excessive, given the house was pretty basic .

Amazing view and location. Very comfortable bed and good facilities
