Hi Anne-Marie, Thank you for your feedback. You arrived a little earlier than expected and I didn’t get a chance to pop some biscuits into your room before you settled in. It was me who opened your door - I thought you had just dropped off your bags and stepped out but I absolutely should have knocked first. I'm really sorry for the disturbance and any inconvenience caused. We don’t use bars of soap in the bathrooms but that’s something we may consider for future guests. A fresh tube of shower gel is placed in each room daily, so I’ll follow up with our team to make sure that’s consistently happening. As for the coffee, it’s brewed fresh each morning and sourced locally from one of the top roasters in town. Perhaps it just wasn’t to your taste, as we’ve not had any previous complaints - we’ve been using them for some time and have only ever had glowing feedback. (I’m not a coffee drinker myself, but it does smell really good!) Thanks again for your comments - we’re always striving to improve what we offer, and feedback like yours helps us grow. We're delighted to hear you enjoyed the unique décor throughout Glen Gat; many of those pieces have been lovingly collected by Tim over the years and they’ve become part of the charm of our family-run B&B, now celebrating 35 years in business. We really appreciate your comment about the sausages, too. Based on guest feedback like yours, we've now sourced larger ones from a local butcher that we feel are a much better fit for a hearty Full Irish.
