Reviews of Thirteen On The Green - Eyre Square

Location was fantastic in the heart of Galway and easy to get around the city centre! The pub is sensational with great staff who, whether it be for dinner or brekky were just easy! Room was comfortable and you don’t spend a lot of time it was okay.

It’s obvious it’s a pub first and accomodation second which is okay but the whole area is terribly noisy at night especially when they put out the empty beer barrels out at 4.30am which really made sleeping a nightmare. Be prepared for a massive walk from the suggested car park if your driving and just an unloading area would be worth them investigating in?

It was very convenient and central. The bar was great! The staff were very friendly and there was a musical group playing in the evening.

Breakfast was fast, and good. Staff was very friendly. Location was perfect for discovering Galway. Will return, would stay at 13 on the green again.

It was what we expected, fun experience to stay above a pub. Would book again.:)

It was just as expected. We were right above the restaurant/bar and it was perfect. The room was clean. The restaurant had amazing food and a great selection of whiskey.

It's a nice Irish pub with good food and good live music with friendly staff what more could you want? When you do decide to go to bed, it's actually much quieter than I expected (you can hear music, but it's not disturbing - and I'm a very light sleeper). Breakfast was good too.

Breakfast starts at 8:00am, I probably would have preferred a 7:30am start.

Convenience to the train station.

Small room with dirty carpet and a shower that leaks onto the floor. The shower also had sharp edges that my husband cut his foot on. Not as convenient to the night life and better restaurants in the city.

We had dinner as well as breakfast. The food and service we’re excellent

Everything about my stay was exceptional, the location and the friendly staff. I would recommend Thirteen on the Green to anyone thinking of spending a few days in Galway. I hope to visit again on my next trip to Galway.

No complaints! Everything about my stay was enjoyable. I can't think of anything I didn't like about the location or, kindness of the staff during my stay. I would definitely recommend everything about the place.

No ac, no fan, had to keep window opened to get air. Very loud with the window open with cars,trucks and the loud music under our window could not get to sleep. Just a bad room

Location.

Third floor smelled rancid. Very expensive. The floor three button on the elevator also engages the floor 2 button so you have to stop at two different floors to get to floor 3. Room key difficult to use. Room incredibly small.

The staff were excellent, kind, and welcoming all around. I was there for work and they very helpfully allowed me to print out a script for a presentation free of cost. Ideal location for food, activities, and travel as well!

Unfortunately it’s way too noisy and with no air conditioning meant you had to have the windows open.. to the manager’s credit she did arrange a fan also a refund if we wanted to seek other accommodation ..
