There is nothing that we did not like.

The cabin is beautiful and in a lovely woodland setting. We really enjoyed our stay. Fergal and Margarita are great hosts.

Needs better instructions on how to use the washer/dryer and written instructions for the hot water in the showers. When we first arrived, there was dirt under the kitchen table, that we had to sweep up and the table felt not real clean. Also, the furniture had dog hair? on it. The step outside of the living room should have a yellow strip or a metal strip showing where the step ends. I tripped going out onto the deck, didn't fall, but someone else might get hurt.

The location was perfect for what we wanted to see.

Unfortunately it's a little tired. The rug in the lounge curls up on 3 corners. Causing a trip / stumble hazard. Not enough crockery / mugs for a full house. Pillows definitely have seen better days.

Location was very good. Nice walk down to the riverbank. Very quiet. Only bird song and cows most of the time. Very spacious. Lots of wardrobe space. 15 minutes away from Cavan. It felt very safe.barrier to entrance. Gas BBQ very good. Works well. Good response from owners with problem with TV and got it sorted over the phone.

The location was phenomenal and the cabin was amazing! We cannot wait to go back! We only booked 2 nights but we would absolutely book for more next time. Our hosts was so lovely and gave us all the details in advance that we didn't have to think about a thing! Not 1 bad thing to say honestly but we didn't want to leave today lol

sockets in the twin bedroom did not appear to work. Towels could be a bit larger and additional hand towels would have been welcome.

Perfect place to explore Cavan. Close to many amenities and sights. Lovely cabin with lots of space. Pet friendly.

Could do with a couple of torches/candles in the property and some emergency numbers and some local walks, they have a great map of the Irish Lakes but some local walks would be good, also good eateries for those with Woofs. Other than that superb. We just googled stuff and found places to eat and drink and walk locally but we have stayed in the area before.

Location was superb, quiet and a quick walk down to the beautiful river and the jetty. Next time we will bring our kayak. The people there some who lived there were very friendly and some that were staying also, amenities great, plenty of space to sit out and enjoy the views. Belturbet is a lovely village, down on the river that flows by the property. It is has a marina and a lovely river walk called the Mill Walk, plus good places to eat and drink with or without Dogs. We ate in the Castle Pub which loved Dogs. Good Food and Drink especially the Black stuff. Happy to help and mix up a Mocktali for my daughter aged 11.

The hosts are incredibly helpful from booking right up until your stay. The lodge was perfect for us, very well equipped, spacious, and in a beautiful location. Such a peaceful area and perfect for us to use as a base to explore. My family, dog and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The cabin was lovely and well-equipped, with everything we needed. Our hosts were amazing and very welcoming, providing all the necessary information for check-in and checkout with ease. The spacious cabin is perfect for a family or group of friends, and we particularly enjoyed using the BBQ grill on a sunny day. The kitchen was fully stocked, including condiments and basic supplies for cooking and baking, which is a great convenience for a self-catering stay. Thank you, Fergal and Margherita, for the wonderful stay and the warm reception, complete with fire logs to keep us cozy.

I would recommend that if you arrive to the property its best to arrive during the daylight hours as the Location has many houses that actually look the same to avoid any confusion

Didn’t not like anything about it

Stayed here for a peaceful Christmas. The property is lovely and has everything you need. Fergal and margarita the hosts made sure it was lovely when we arrived heating had been put on for us and a fire was set up for us just to light it was amazing. They also left a tray of goodies for us and the dogs on the table which I found to be such a lovely touch. They also decorated the place for us for Christmas with a tree, lights and decorations and added touch of Christmas crackers on the dinner table too. We loved it and would go back in a heartbeat. Lovely and warm and all the utilities and cooking utensils you need. There’s extra bedding if you need it and Towels absolutely everything that was needed wasn’t forgotten like washing up liquid even dishwasher tablets and washing pods. I mean these guys didn’t forget anything was a pleasure to stay here and would love to back in summer for maybe 2 weeks instead of 1. Absolute great getaway overlooking the lake and of an evening sitting on porch with a glass of wine was bliss. Thankyou to Fergal and Margarita
