Though extremely comfortable, I had no control of the rooms temperature, it was very warm.

Air-conditioning didn't work buy staff brought us a fan which was nice, poor music choice for spa, breakfast was poor - very greasy and no cover on buffet food with flies around

When I stayed last year it was faultless, This time house keeping was not great. Toilet was not clean, light bulbs not working, Dead flys and a room was dusty, Bathmats need updated.

Food was very good! Food and beverage manager she was very pleasant. Cocktails and wine list very good and breakfast was also brilliant. Bar and staff had a great vibe and check in very pleasant and efficient. New spa and packages look excellent, Dining room with open view is a great addition. Room had tasteful decor.

The area outside our room was a bit noisy, our room seemed to be located above a bin area and a lot of glass bottles were being disposed during our 1-night stay.

Room was spacious, staff was very friendly, breakfast options great and dinner decent as well.

One of us had a very poorly cooked breakfast on our first morning so oily it was inedible. This experience prevented him from ordering a cooked breakfast on the following morning However Aofe in the breakfast room was very attentive and delightful and we cannot praise her highly enough

The Hotel is in a beautiful setting. Staff very friendly throughout my stay. Very comfortable bed and had a lovely breakfast brought to my room. 12pm check out was a plus for me.

The fact that it was so quiet was lovely for a rest and relaxation but we became aware it was due to most weekly residents being workers in the local area. This perhaps made it lack a bit of atmosphere in the evenings etc. It did not put us off returning however. I am sure the weekends would be busier with guests.

Room was lovely. Everything needed was there and we were very pleased with the decor etc. Some water would have been a bonus in the room but the staff were very helpful in providing this as it was a very warm spell of weather. Meals were in the bar area which was fine for us as the Bistro was not open for evening meals through the week. Breakfast was served in the Bistro area which was lovely. The food was excellent overall. The outdoor SPA is fabulous and a real bonus in warm weather. Beautifully designed small space.

Being a wheelchair user I had to have breakfast in an area about the conservatory . That the spa wasn’t available for us to use at no extra cost The was a glutton of flies

The viewing hole in bedroom door.i didn't feel comfortable that you could see into the room from outside.i thought that little glass was to look out if someone knocked on your door .

The only complaint I would have was that in the interconnecting room I was in, I could hear the guest/tv next to me very easily. He was talking loudly in the phone a lot which made it hard to fall asleep but the balcony and lovely view from the room made up for it!

The staff. Christine was looking after the hotel after the passing of the owner and the bar/restaurant were subsequently closed leaving no food or drink facilities for residents (they had informed guests prior to their arrival). Christine was so professional, efficient and attentive and in very difficult circumstances for staff. She could not do enough to make me feel welcome and even rustled up a far from basic breakfast for guests. She is an absolute asset to the hotel.

Everything was grand. Food was lovely. Only gripe; I came down for a pint about 10.40pm & the bar was closed. Not a happy camper. Never have seen this in 40 yrs.
