It's a great apartment in a very convenient location to Doolin with beautiful views of the Cliffs of Moher. We particularly loved the outdoor room, what a wonderful addition! Joan was a very warm and friendly host. Highly recommend this accommodation. It was perfect for the 6 of us, all adults. Lots of options for running, walking and hiking from the front door too.

It was very spacious, clean, and perfectly appointed inside! We loved being able to take a short walk into town to ample pubs, sites (especially the Cliffs of Moher and Doolin caves). Having coffee, tea, sugar, and bread and butter and jelly was a nice touch! The horses and donkey were fun to watch.

Quiet, relaxing country location with adorable horses on the property.. There’s also a detached patio type structure that’s perfect for eating breakfast or drinking coffee in the morning while taking in the countryside sights. The apartment was comfortable and spacious. They provided some breakfast food basics and coffee, sugar, etc. Very much appreciated! The apartment actually had a dryer (and a washer of course). In Europe, it’s rare to find a dryer. We loved having that convenience. The friendly owner greeted us and gave us tips for seeing the Cliffs, Doolin restaurants and other points of interest nearby. We loved our stay here.

We arrived into Doolin late and the all the restaurants were already closed. Our host Joan was very kind and thoughtful to provide us with the some sandwich-type food for dinner on that first night. That was so appreciated! Thanks Joan!

We were happy with every aspect of our stay at Doolin Heights

The setting for this lovely home is truly exquisite! When we first arrived we were thrilled to see a direct view of the Cliffs of Moher, a beautiful rolling pasture with a mare and young foal on the property, and the charming town of Doolin only a 3 min drive away. The owners live next door and were there to greet us, gave us a tour of the property, and stocked the kitchen with fresh milk, bread and eggs…a lovely bonus. The house was much larger than it appeared in photos, and extremely comfortable for our short stay of only 2 days. We would love to return to Doolin Heights and stay longer next time.

Nothing really, it was great. We had a little trouble figuring out the washing machine and how to lock the front door as they’re different from the US but we worked it out, no problem.

The road is extremely narrow with stone walls to maneuver around.

Perfect location. Warm fire on a cool and rainy night. Laundry facilities. Hostess provided eggs, milk, bread and juice. Jellies and butter. Tea/coffee sugar and creamer!

This was our favorite place to stay during our Ireland vacation - we could have easily spent a week. The pictures don't do it justice. There's so much to drive to and explore in the area - Cliffs of Moher, Aran Islands, all around the Burren. It was spacious and comfortable, incredible views, and so peaceful. The walk to town intimidated us in the dark, but the host showed us where to park right next to the main road, so we did the little 3 minute drive each night. The bars have music around 9-11pm each night, full of tourists and local music and a great time. Joan was so kind, allowing us to arrive late, and her son even drove us into town the first night. This was exactly the charming Irish experience we were looking for!

Nothing to report here, perfect stay.

What’s not to like? Perfect location, beautiful walk to the village. Stunning views of the cliffs and the countryside. Loved the cottage, great place for sleep, food and relaxation. The cottage was so clean and bright, it was truly amazing. The beds were incredibly comfortable with the perfect amount of linens. Will definitely stay again!!

Nothing other than that we didn't have enough down time to enjoy the house.

The host provided breakfast supplies (eggs, bread, milk, juice, coffee, tea) but we did not have time to use them. The location was great for easy access to our activities - Cliffs of Moher and Aran Island ferry / day trip. We enjoyed the nights at local pubs close by.
