Gintys cottage felt like a home from home, so cosy and welcoming. Turf left for the fire made for cosy, relaxing evenings. Very clean with all you need for your stay. The local restaurant which is a short walk from the cottage has very friendly staff who go out of their way to accommodate and also offer a laundry service. Can not recommend highly enough, myself, hubby, 5 year old son and our dog thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Quiet and remote location. Really well equipped kitchen. Really cosey and comfortable. Bed was really comfortable. No issues with WiFi. Close driving distance to some gorgeous coastal and walking spots. Margaret was so helpful and welcoming. We were kept in supply of turf for the fire, but heating was also really easy to use when needed. Our doggy also enjoyed her stay :-)

Nothing it was perfection

I really can’t describe how amazing Gintys cottage was. We arrived and the fire was lighting after a long trip it instantly had us relaxed and comfortable. The cottage is spotless and exceptionally maintained. Communication was excellent and very detailed. The area has so many natural beauties within a short drive and the roads are smooth and calm. I think this was the best and most relaxing trip we have taken to date. Definitely one worth booking.

I didn't dislike a thing

Loved everything it was fantastic. The expectation was exceeded. It is a drive away from most touristy spots. However there are 2 wonderful beaches about 5 minutes drive away with a stunning cliff walk. We would absolutely recommend gintys cottage and would return in a heartbeat. The turf fire during a storm in August was an unexpected highlight of our stay.

The location is absolutely stunning and the cottage itself is gorgeous. It is decorated beautifully and has most modern facilities while still keeping an old kind of charm. You will find yourself close to the wilds of the Atlantic and will be surrounded by sheep and chickens and tractors; country staples. My Americans loved it. It is truly an idyllic setting. Beds were very comfortable, great quality bed linen and the rooms themselves were a decent size. Living area was cosy with a fire and fast (shocking!) wifi. There's a view from every window. Host was very communicative and super helpful. I would love to come back again, perhaps next time for a little longer!

We loved the cozy, home-like atmosphere of this cottage. Our first experience using turf in the fireplace made our stay even more interesting. The warm welcome and helpful guidance from the host truly enhanced our visit.

The area was peaceful. The cottage looked lovely from the outside and the inside was the same.Spotlessly clean and cozy.we enjoyed the turf fire. It was well placed for quiet beaches and countryside.Noreen came to check if everything was ok.The community centre cafe up the road was great value.

Perhaps a hook in the bathroom or somewhere to put your washbag although I utilised the bath edge so not a bother really.

I loved the welcome, comfy bed, the choice of either having a bath or a shower and of course the beautiful countryside. Facilities were good having a microwave and freezer as well as all the regular appliances. Plenty of room if there were four people. Extra bonus being able to bring the fur baby.
