Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It is a lovely modern house with everything thought of for you. Literally travel down bring food but the essentials are provided for. 5 min walk to the beach and fairly central to the local village

No complaints from us!
This is a lovely house, nicely decorated , spotlessly clean and well equipped. It's a few minutes walk from the village and while it's set among a group of houses, it still feels private. It was lovely to have some essentials in the fridge and there was nothing we could have asked for that Wendy hasn't already considered! I'd come back and live here if I could manage the commute to Belfast!

The cottage was lovely and top rate for cleanliness and comfort. The host Wendy was lovely and couldn't have done more to improve our stay. Can't recommend this cottage and host enough. Will definitely be back in the summer. Beautiful location.

Absolutely nothing!
We had a fabulous stay. The cottage is perfection, it is beautifully designed and comfortable with everything you need and more. It was also cosy and warm and also very peaceful. We loved the out of season feel as we just wanted to chill and relax. While there are other cottages, our cottage is not overlooked and faces onto a large shared lawn area with mature scrubs and trees. The location is also excellent for walks and close to Rathmullen House and the beach. Communication with Wendy was excellent and she was extremely helpful. We can't wait to stay again!

Nothing to dislike
The property is really lovely. As soon as you walk in it gives you a lovely feel. Modern but with nice homely touches. Although the cottage is among others you never feel you are being overlooked. Brought our wee cavapoochon Reuben and he loved the open spaces. Cottage is extremely well equipped with everything you need. Elaine is a lovely host and answered any queries quickly.

The cottage handbook could have explained use of the hob in more detail (press the lock symbol to activate the heat settings). Quickest way the the lough/ town. Dog-friendly pubs serving food. Of course, we did find all of these things out!
The cottage was beautifully appointed and well- equipped with everything you could want.

We loved Wendy and James’ house. The decor was stunning. Everything was excellent quality and obviously a lot of thought and date had gone in to styling it. It was a beautiful welcoming house. Ideal location. Bright and spacious. Gorgeous surrounding space. Everything was superb!

There wasn't anything not to like.
We really loved our stay here. The house was fantastic and really close to the beach. There was a nice green space out the front that the kids could play in. It really couldn't have been any better and Wendy was a great host. Having milk, bread and things to start off the holiday was great and there was everything we needed to hand. We'll definitely be back.

The cottage was in a fantastic location, it was beside the beach, beside the village, perfect location. The property was spotless, very clean with everything you would need, beautifully finished as well inside. Communication with owner was great, never any delays and clear instructions for arrival etc. The welcome package was also lovely, very much appreciated! We wanted to book for same week next year but just missed out, but will hopefully get a different time. We would definitely recommend, and return to this cottage again!!

Absolutely gorgeous. Very comfortable, plenty of space, very clean and everything you could possibly need. Lovely quiet spot a short walk to the beach. Couple of minutes in to town in the car or a easy walk if you wanted to. Couple of restaurants, takeaways and pubs and a shop. All lovely and friendly.

Shower cubicle in downstairs en-suite was incredibly claustrophobic. However, there is also a shower/bath in the bathroom upstairs, so not really a big issue.
House has EVERYTHING you could possibly need.
