It was a wonderful experience in a perfect setting. We had a balcony room in a lodge which was so peaceful . Staff made us feel so welcome .

Attended a wedding and couldn’t fault the place. Never wanted for anything all day. A beautiful place day and night. Staff were brilliant and the food was unbelievable especially for a wedding.

We attended a family fairytale wedding in Cabra Castle, from the venue/staff/service/food it was all very magical and the two brides felt like two princesses for the entire time. The service and organization of everything was outstanding from the moment we arrived till we checked out we received exceptional service. I will definitely be visiting Cabra Castle again. I enquired with the staff in Cabra Castle for hair/make up and we where given a list of makeup artists and hairdressers, we used makeupbyderval who was also fantastic and very obliging I would highly recommend her.

Stayed for a family wedding and the venue did not disappoint. Beautiful location , friendly staff and a beautiful hotel. Our meal was lovely and so was the weather.......in other words, all perfect.

This is a wedding venue and there were two on plus a bus load of tourists, so the staff were busy. They could have used more people at times. Access to the dining rooms (from the back rooms) are via creaky corridors. I don’t think I would have liked to stay in those rooms. We didn’t, so really can’t say if those visitors might have heard the passing foot traffic. You can also walk around the building if the weather is fine… but again, two weddings and walking through those guests felt impolite.

Good size room, comfortable beds and pillows. Plenty of hot water, good restaurant and meals were tasty. Fortunately, we were in the rooms way out the back where it is quieter and we could park outside our room. There is a wonderful wilderness walk from the hotel which takes you right up to the gorgeous waterfall pictured so often in this area.

The second room where I stayed with the mother of the bride was incredibly hot during the afternoon. We opened windows but the horseflies ate us alive. Simply took cool showers to cool down. Otherwise, not a second complaint to be made.

The rooms were wonderful! The grounds were gorgeous and just what one would hope for in a castle. I was also delighted to see the Wolfhounds out and about. Magical indeed.

Couldn’t fault our stay we had the best time for our anniversary we were treated with a personal card in the room we have recommended to all friends and family would like to highlight Lauren at the bar for her cocktails and Linda at reception for there upmost hospitality -Becky and Aran 66 courtyard

Myself and my partner stayed here for one night to celebrate it being one year until our wedding. We have dinner in the courtyard restaurant, the food was amazing and the staff were exceptional. The breakfast the next morning was delicious. We are so exciting to come back next year to get married!
