We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The kitchenette was very tiny and could have been more inviting. It had a small frig and microwave.
Very classy and comfortable hotel and Una was very friendly at the front desk. We had the studio apartment which was very tastefully decorated and comfortable with a living room, dining area and a small kitchenette. The breakfast area was lovely and had a generous buffet bar and the ability to order additional items from the menu. Food was delicious! Very short walk into town, excellent location!

So many hotels in Ireland don’t have air conditioning and that took some getting used to (we are Americans) but the hotel provided a fan which helped us stay cool at night.
Great location (there is a pathway that makes it easy to walk to town). Plus you are right on the entrance to part of the Ring of Kerry. Very nicely appointed hotel and the staff was friendly and extremely helpful. It is locally owned so Una, the proprietor takes great care to provide you with what you need, including advice about sightseeing. The breakfast was delicious - I had eggs and smoked salmon made to order (other menu items available) and in addition there is a generous buffet with fruit, yogurt, breads, etc available. Coffee and tea is delivered to your room at no extra charge (LOVED THIS!). Plus the restaurant is nice for dinner - good food and service. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed in a family suite, and the finishing made the whole suite feel like an afterthought. Bad lighting, clumsy little kitchenette with no space for dishwashing, etc.
Nice restaurant on site, good breakfast, friendly staff. Our suite was spacious and convenient for our family.

The lack of cereal options for breakfast would be my only complaint.
Gorgeous little hotel. We stayed in the studio which was ideal for a group of friends. Well priced and great location.

There is nothing about the accommodations that did not meet superior expectations.
The rooms were very comfortable. The staff was very personable and informative about sites to see in the area. The food at the restaurant was fantastic and the breakfast was amazing.

Tea/coffee making facilities in the bedroom would be great.

Having issues with the AC but could not get ahold of anyone at the front desk by phone or in person. I would hate to have a medical emergency there, you would expire before anyone would notice.

We had a meal in the restaurant on the night of check-in and it was a little hit and miss with what appeared to be shift related issues (we asked for dessert menu and it never appeared but eventually tracked down another staff member and she was very helpful) food was lovely. The next morning we had breakfast in the dining room and again the food was lovely but we had the feeling that the staff would rather have been somewhere else and were left feeling that we were in boarding school again.
Food was excellent and check-in and check-out staff were friendly and efficient.

We ar a couple that did a little journey tru the beauty of Kerry and surrounding beautiful places and we wanted to stay in a nice place so the Brook Lane was perfect . We loved everything from the moment we entered and all the time we stayed. The place is fabulous, clean,beautiful rooms,restaurant the lounge areas ar beautiful, the staff is very friendly and professional..
