Absolutely stunning location. Perfect for playing golf in Tralee. Short drive to Fenit. The accommodation was very special, waking up to the sound of the sea outside our bedroom window. Breakfast overlooking the bay. The breakfast was absolutely beautiful. Freshly cooked full Irish, scones, home made brown bread. Our host Clodagh, chef Alex really made the stay special. The linen in the beds and design of the bedrooms was absolutely beautiful. Couldn't fault it. We hope to be back.

Our hostess was so cheery and friendly! She welcomed us warmly to the lodge and, when she learned we had had a long drive, brought us a lovely tray of Irish tea. The setting is so beautiful and peaceful- we really enjoyed our stay!

Just back from the most wonderful stay at Barrow Lodge and I honestly can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, Clodagh and her lovely family made me feel so genuinely welcome — the kind of warmth you don’t often come across. The accommodation was beautiful, the food was absolutely delicious (all homemade and full of love), and the views… truly spectacular. There’s a calm, peaceful atmosphere that makes you instantly feel at home. It’s a very special place in a very special location — the kind of spot that stays with you. I’d go back for the hospitality alone. Already counting the days until my next visit! 💛

We had a very welcome arriving, the room is amazing, very big, nice bathroom, hot water, and so, so clean. Little treats like an apple, oranges, tea und coffee in the room. We enjoyed our trip so much. The breakfast was very good, even lemon cake for breakfast ;-)

Parking a little tough due to the super steep road. However inexperienced drivers can park on top where it’s not steep. I just wanted to be closer to the room haha.

Everything about Barrow Lodge was spot on. Lovely location, exceptionally quiet. The owner, Clodagh, is a perfect host, very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. The rooms are tastefully furnished to a high standard. The bed is a super king size and extremely comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room along with TV. Our room had a view overlooking the sea. Lastly, the dining room is beautifully decorated and is very well furnished. The menu suits all tastes and there is a large selection of cereals, yogurts, bread and freshly made cakes and scones. We only stayed one night and we were thoroughly spoilt. Great restaurant just 5 minute walk away in the Tralee Golf Club. Thoroughly recommend and hope to return.

It's been a week since I stayed at Barrow Lodge and I keep thinking about it, very fondly. A magical spot with the most genuine, friendly host. I recommend at least two nights, such a refreshing respite on a trip around Ireland. I'm so glad to have stayed there. Comfortable bed, good shower, incredible views, superb breakfast, perfect host. Book it.

Every single thing about Barrow Lodge was exceptional. Our rooms, the breakfast, our hostess, the location...all fabulous. We were absolutely delighted with Clodaugh...she was so friendly and helpful...we felt right at home. We drove about 1/4 of a mile to the Tralee Golf Links (designed by Arnold Palmer) for dinner and loved it! I can't say enough good things about this accommodation.

The place is very beautiful and Clodagh was very amazing and provided all the things we needed! The room is spacious and very clean, and it is right in front of the sea which the view is stunning. Highly recommended if anyone is travelling around and looking for a space to stay.
