There was nothing to not like!

This hotel is absolutely beautiful and so nice. Everything is wonderful. Nice large room, bathroom etc. We were in rm 803. The grounds are exceptionally maintained, breakfast was included and delicious! We hope to return again some day.

The staff at the castle is what you would expect. They were friendly, attentive, and efficient. We stayed only one day because we wanted a relaxing spot with little activity and it was perfect for that. We even enjoyed a walk in the woods that are adjacent to the property. We stayed in a suite that allowed for a third person. It was outstanding. An unexpected treat was provided by the resident dogs. Of the four, the two Irish Wolf Hounds (Joe and Dolan) were our favorites. I have to add that the food was excellent and that our server, Doreen, was outstanding.

The scenery is beautiful! The castle, the surrounding, the massive dogs! The staff was super friendly. They have a really nice bar open until midnight. Everything was sparkling clean. We had a really good time. Definitely recommend it.

Amazing! I have stayed here 4 times now (3 times at the lodge house) and the room was way beyond expectation. Huge area, bath was a bonus and all so clean. Food and drinks down stairs in the garden area was beautiful.

We had asked to stay in the haunted suite and they didnt accommodate us. We didn’t end up even in that building. Very disappointed

The only unexpected thing was that the Castle Rooms are decorated by country and we had the Japanese Room. It was very well decorated but was a bit of a surprise entering our room expecting the same Castle decor.

The property is beautiful. The Castle is gorgeous and the lobby, parlor, pub, dining room were all elegantly decorated. The castle friendly dogs welcomed us, the staff was friendly and we immensely enjoyed our visit. We had a Castle Room and also a room in the Lodge. Both were wonderful

Absolutely nothing.

The decor, history, and grounds were spectacular but so was the food. Beautiful beyond measure. The staff was exceptional and Doreen, Max and Esther went above and beyond. I think Max performed almost every single job title!

The restaurant could have better service for dinner. The food is mediocre but still sitting in the lovely outdoors was very nice - however the food could be tastier. The servers seemed short staffed but it wasn't a bit deterrent.

This was an outstanding experience to stay in a castle. The grounds and rooms are simply amazing and HUGE! The breakfast was included and cooked to your specifications and it was delicious and served in beautiful plates. The staff was really friendly and offered to bring up our bags since the castle has no elevators (but we didn't need that) but just to offer this was nice.

The first morning the breakfast took a while-they were very busy and perhaps short handed . The second morning was great.

We stayed at the family lodge which was down the road, few minutes walk to the castle. It was great and spacious. The castle itself was really special, beautifully designed and taken care of with two bars and a restaurant and gardens. The farm animals were a plus and the pups were also adorable. Breakfast was included -choice of omelets, pancakes, eggs Benedict to name a few.

NOTHING! We LOVED it all!

We adored our 1 night stay in Ballyseede Castle! It was romantic, beautifully decorated and comfortable. The staff was amazing and eager to please. The breakfast was order off the menu as well as a buffet, and was more than we ever imagined, Everything was delicious. The Irish wolfhounds and all the dogs who roam the castle were so cute and friendly as well. Esther, our server in the dining room for breakfast was most helpful in providing us with information about the area and places we should visit. She was so sweet!

There was a heat wave while we were there, and there is no air conditioning. Our room was slightly warm for my comfort.

This property is absolutely stunning! Joe the resident Irish wolf hound is a special bonus! Esther was a fantastic server/bartender & took great care to make us feel at home! I will absolutely return to this beautiful Castle & highly recommend a visit for everyone!

That we couldn’t stay longer!

Somehow Ballyseede was elegant and fancy without being pretentious, and it was fabulous! The staff was friendly and helpful, and really down to earth. The rooms and the property were beautiful and story-book like.
