Some staff sometimes seem miserable at breakfast but maybe training, spiders in the corners in the bar, cobwebs on windows on the dining room area on the patio outside area. Keeping areas clean is simple but important, visual for customers, please attention to detail?

Rooms were kept clean and tidy, good housekeeping and reception staff, bar staff helpful and professional, room had modern facilities, good value for money with breakfast which had a great choice and good quality. Central town location.

The breakfast wasn’t up to much, not much choice and felt very rushed the moment you sat down, and it felt like it was sitting ready not freshly cooked

Very noisy if you are on a street view room. Everyone seems to want to beep their horn in town and the staff will carry bottles out early in the morning. Very noisy hotel location.

The decor was old-fashioned, one of the bars was permanently closed, and throughout the hotel, the temperature was too warm, making it uncomfortable.

Location was ideal for what we needed. Breakfast was good.

There were a few things however I spoke with the general manager and she was so lovely in clearing up my queries.

The dusty rear of the fan. Dangerous.

Very comfortable bed. Fan in room, great but if they don't clean the lumps of dust from the mechanism at the back it could be a fire hazard!

The Ballina Manor Hotel is always where I stay when I return to my grandfather's place of birth in County Mayo. Set along the River Moy, it was lovely to have a drink and watch the activities along the river.

The bed was so uncomfortable. The pillows may as well have been made out of stone!

More hotel car parking (only about 6-8 spaces next door). Air conditioning - it was very warm and humid. A space to unload a car outside.

The overall old-style charm of the place, the wonderful staff, excellent food, comfortable beds. The staff went above and beyond by providing a pedestal fan and a small fridge for our room.

Had trouble with the shower unable to turn on & off easily asked a member of staff to investigate for future use

lack of air condition dirty and smelly and small parking noisy rooom

I cannot recommend this hotel. 4 stars is really too much :( No air condition, noisy in the room even with closed windows, strange and loud sounds from the sewers / toilet system, old fashioned furniture, terrible parking ( You are not shure that You got it, I was lucky), but full and tasty breakfast and nice staff. Located in the center of the city.

I did not sleep very well due to the uncomfortable bed. The staff were very helpful when it was discovered what the issue was.

The staff were very helpful, enjoyed our stay over all. The food was of a very high standard and a great selection to choose from. Great location and easy to get around.

The room was extremely warm and coupled with the good weather it made sleeping uncomfortable. I was able to borrow a fan but it made the room just bearable

It was a great location, rooms were big and the space around the hotel to sit and read/talk was superb. Breakfast was really good and all the staff were really pleasant.

No complaints.

Just needed someplace to stay for the night. Easy check-in with friendly staff, entire hotel was clean and pleasant. Room was lovely with comfy bed. Bathroom was clean and shower worked! Breakfast the next morning was lovely with friendly helpful service and gave me a great start to the day. I could pick up some things from the shops close by.
