The outdoor garden area is wonderful! We enjoyed sitting out there and visiting. Breakfast was great with fresh everything. Close to botanical gardens.

The room was immaculate and looked lovely, very comfortable bed and great amenities. Jonathan and his family were amazing in their accommodation and recommendations around the city. Breakfast selection was excellent and not to mention the cute dog Ted. 10/10 stay will be back !

Jack was a great host. Very kind in letting us leave our bags for the day as our flight was in the evening on return. Very comfortable bed. Great coffee and continental breakfast, which you could help yourself to anytime in the morning. Easy 40 min walk into the centre or get the bus.

Jack and Audrey were lovely hosts. They made me feel right at home! Avoca House was perfect, I loved everything about it. A huge plus was Teddy, the 5 month old miniature dachshund, lol.

Jack was a wonderful host who stayed up later to greet us when our plane arrived late. Beautiful home, comfortable bed, and delicious choices for continental self-serve breakfast. 25-30min walk to the city or plenty of buses within a 10min walk.

Everything was great!

A beautifully decorated and well-maintained stately home on a quiet street corner with easy access to the bus and a short walk to Glasnevin Cemetery and the Botanic Garden. Jack and his lovely wife go above and beyond to create a wonderful stay and constantly think about ways to improve the guest experience under Teddy’s adoring watch. Hospitality is in Jack’s blood! If you appreciate specialty coffee, silver serving dishes, daily room service and ironed sheets, this is your place. The attic room was perfect for a single petite traveler. Other rooms seemed spacious and well lit. Highly recommend and excited to return.

Avoca house is a beautiful and comfortable B&B. It is close to the centre, to which you can get by bus or on foot. Our stay was made really special by Jack, the owner, who is a welcoming person and really puts his heart into making his guests as comfortable as possible. The bedrooms are spotless clean, quiet and the beds are amazingly comfortable. We'll definitely go back if we travel to Dublin again.

Room very small and very hot...no ventilation but expect all other rooms would be better for certain. Advice would be to avoid small loft bedroom with skylight on upper floor and book for one night maximum in this room.

Amazing Jack host most welcoming and attentive. Lovely safe Dublin residential community and best suited to car access as one hour walking to Dublin proper. Beautiful zen deck with umbrella for enjoyment is a bonus. Continental self service breakfast choices, especially high grade organic coffee and expresso machine best B and B choices and best dining room in 🇮🇪

Amazing 2 day stay. From the moment we arrived, till we left absolutely nothing to complain about. Quiet location but within walking distance to very good pubs, shops and bus stops to the city. Very comfortable bed, quiet. Breakfast was very nice, homemade bread and jam, selection of cheeses, fruit, yogurts. Got to make friends with Ted the puppy who is adorable. Would not hesitate to stay there again if we return to Dublin
