Honestly for me was just that the singer from the band was a bit creepy with me. Which as a female traveller alone wasn’t great - this is the only experience I had like it since in Bali. Also I was slightly confused as why the happy hour drinks weren’t so strong so then I think I drank too much later on to compensate.

My bungalow was really pretty & cute just behind the pool area which was very clean and swimmable. They had a fun beach bar vibe at the front with sun loungers and great service with nice drinks. Pizza was excellent with a proper Italian wood fire stove (I lived in Italy for years so kind of a snob about this!) and the staff from the hotel were all really lovely - they organised my private boat to go to gili meno on departure and I was really happy. Also, I was there for the Friday night but luckily I like to party so that was also great, they had fireworks, fire dancers and then club music I had a great time. Plus it was a local & westerners inclusive party which I loved and was amazing.

We got there on a Friday for one night and there was a big party and the music was so loud that we were not able to sleep. They only do party’s on Friday so unfortunately for us that we picked that day. Other than that it was all good.

Overall we loved this place and was so central. The dance party didnt really bother us, in fact it inspired us to get up and take a look. Upon arrival it was a bit un nerving walking through restaurant past the kitchen to get to the bunglows reception but everything was very clean just not such a picturesque entrance.

The location was great and the staff were amazing especially Ozzie - he worked really hard to make sure everything was going well for us. The accomodation was traditional balinese and was very cute. We were in room number 6 which was quieter at the back of the property. The food was great and the seafood BBQ kebabs were awesome and so cheap. The beer was cold and their was always room on the loungers on the beach. Breakfast was included which was great. Great happy hours which ran for many hours and the breakfast was available until 12pm if you wanted to sleep in or explore and return to breakfast.The swimming straight out the front of Zipp I think was the best location on the island as even in low tide it was deep. Ozzie and team great job ! We had to go to another place on the island as we decided to extend our stay which was more expensive and strangely had better reviews but we though Zipp was far better. Would come back to stay next trip for sure.

Cute hut, great location, nice swimming pool and restaurant on the beach. Staff very helpful and also rented a bike through them. You can also walk there from the ferry pretty easily

Excellent location, near harbour. Comfortable bungalow with outside shower/ toilet. Staff very friendly and attentive. Tasty breakfast, especially the banana pancakes. Really good value for money.

Every Friday night, the place hosts a beach party ( rave party) which finished at 4:30am. You can't sleep, and the noise is amberable unless you want to party with them and stay up all night. I will raccomend not staying at the place on Friday night.

The staff are very friendly and always helpful. The location is very central, and you don't hear the prayer early in the morning.

Just a suggestion rather than a criticism.....a mirror in the bedroom would be useful & a shelf near the shower to put shampoo & soap on. Be aware that there is a beach party each Friday that continues until about 4.30am ....it is VERY loud!!

When we arrived at Zipp, we were greeted by Ozzie and as we were a bit early he sat us down and brought us the most refreshing watermelon juice I’ve ever tasted! We decided to order some snacks from the menu and, wow! The tastiest fish goujons and onion rings arrived in no time and satisfied our hunger perfectly. When our room was ready Ozzie showed us through to our accommodation, a beautifully clean cottage. A huge bed, lovely clean mozzie net and plenty of storage meant we could properly unpack and find everything we needed for the duration of our stay. We had chosen Zipp due to the bbq each evening and it really didn’t disappoint. The freshest fish/lobster/prawns/calamari/skewers to choose from and the pizzas… some of the best I’ve ever had (and I’m defo a connoisseur!) made with homemade dough and in a wood fired oven, perfect! We spent most of our time on the beach whilst at Zipp and yes, it was disappointing that rubbish seemed to accumulate due to the tides but as soon as it was picked up, the next lot came along! I’d highly recommend this place, the location, food and staff are just amazing. Special thanks to Ozzie for his help in carrying bags to the port, he’s a hero!

Great place! Especially the cleaning service every day was amazing. You get a discount in their restaurant that is very tasty and on the beach. The only downside was that it was very loud until quite late (construction work and parties) :/

The place needs to be refurbished! It was raining every day (rainy season so that’s fine) and the toilet was not properly covered. We had water dripping right on the toilet seat and on the sink, which meant that you could not even wash your hands without getting water dripping from an improvised roof. In general, comfort is not their strongest point. The restaurant had very old and damaged table cloths, etc. to summarise, a place with lots of potential but that needs to be revamped.

The location is pretty good for Gili Air and the staff is quite nice. The beach party on Friday was a very nice experience!

Mosquitoes. It was very humid so lots of them but no fault of the resort. The bathroom is semi outdoors so netting would be good to help keep out the bugs.

The staff are great. Food was very good and affordable. The beach is across from the restaurant. Short walk to centre. Plenty of bike rentals and horse drawn buggy to travel with luggage as there are no motor vehicles on the island. Individual bungalows. Cleaning staff were great. Wait staff very attentive. Great dinner bbq each night.

Food for breakfast could be improved; we didn't eat breakfast there after the first day even if it was included with our room. Beds are a bit bouncy. And no hot water.

Localisation of the hotel is great. Near the center of the island, and snorkelling available directly in front of the hotel. Bungalows are very cute and pool is nice.
