As others have said, it's not a super new place and it's not pristine. That doesn't bother me, however, the sheets could have been a bit fresher.

This was my 2nd stay here. The view is breathtaking, the food is great, I love yoga in the morning. A great place to come relax. I especially love all the places to enjoy, sure as the big balcony in the room, a couple couches in a nook with a view.

2nd time we've stayed here. Beautiful location, stunning views, and lovely staff. Comfortable bed, clean room, clean bathroom with lovely little outside seating area if you choose a cabin. Given that Bedugul is a 20-minute drive away, we were glad that they had a great menu available. Pet friendly, lots of green areas. Highly recommend and we'd stay again for sure. Loved it.

The place is no maintained. Toilet seat was broken. Everything is falling apart, the sofa outside covered of moss, no AC or fan in the cabin, so very humid and smelling bad. The bathroom had no extraction so again, very humid and damp. Sink not fixed on the counter top in the bathroom etc

kitchen could be more organized. it was pretty slow specifically during breakfast. I couldn't get a clean mug to get my tea. waiting so long to finally get one.. and not two as requested.

It's in a nice area, clean, and has a well-maintained garden. The bungalow is okay. The bathroom is old but quite large.

The cleaning was not so good.. they should improve the it, for the price they sell a standard room; the sheets had a damp smell even though they looked quite clean. The floor was dusty and no soap in the shower. it should be 100% clean, with AC (only fan) and with water heater for the bathroom (it’s with gas so you get boiling water or freezing water). the sofa in the balcony of the room was terribly dirty.. maybe the cushion covers were never washed.

AMAZING location with a wonderful view over the clouds, one of the most mesmerizing views have ever seen so far in my life.. the property has a few different spot to enjoy the view of the forest/mountain/rice-fields. Absolutely stunning! All gardens are really beautiful with attention to detail. The room was nice but nothing special. The food was really nice and perfectly cooked especially breakfast/lunch, at dinner was average (definitely a different cook in the morning than in the night). Overall this property was a good choice!

Bad maintenance, everything is run down, too expensive for what is it. I ordered some room service and it was missing all « the fancies » ingredients of the recioe.

Room facilities can be improved, especially the bathroom. It's a bit old and can use to be updated/modernized. Not enough lighting in room. Limited breakfast options if you're not that into eggs.

Great out-of-the-way location with a great view. Very good value for the area. Staff was friendly, and restaurant meals taste good.

The rooms need some maintenance but they were still good.

Loved our stay! The grounds and view are stunning. You feel like you are actually in the clouds on a foggy morning. The beds are very comfortable. The restaurant food was delicious.

I absolutely did not like the room we stayed in. We stayed in the white bungalows in the middle of the property. They smelled so moldy it was really bad. It just hit me in the face when I walked in. I had to sleep with the door open the whole night with fan on next to the open door to get the fresh air in. They have other bigger/more expensive bungalows so they might be better, at least they looked more new from the outside. But I would definitely not stay in the white bungalows again.

The food! The food in the restaurant was great! We ate both dinner and breakfast.And staff there was excellent! View I amazing and the grounds are amazing. There used to be a pool many years ago but not anymore. (Although some room descriptions in booking.com says pool view) they should remove this.

We stayed in a bungalow with 2 bedrooms. That does not have a roofed terrasse with chairs and a table. The buildings would need some more maintenance.

The Hotel is in a gool location with a beautiful view. There is a nice garden and a good restaurant. Friendly staff.

Need improvement: The bathroom; there were some of leak paints on the ceiling and the bathroom smell weird; maybe because humid. I did saw a coffee room freshener below the sink.

Our stay was trouble free and really did not have any issues.

I started writing this review before we left so i would not forget the multitude of positive points here at Atas Awan. So many positives we decided to stay an extra night. Although we have been before one forgets the beautiful uniqueness of this property. From stunning views to top quality food to amazing staff who cannot do enough for you its just been one totally perfect stay. Of course the gardens as well are a sight to be hold so well done to the garden team also. Here is perfect for just doing nothing really or perhaps reading or a game of cards or special time with your partner and if in to Yoga they have an excellent room for Yoga groups. Note no tv but who cares when you have scenery all around you.They do have good wifi just the same. If you are considering staying in central Bali and want to enjoy a beautiful temperate climate with no air con needed here is your perfect getaway. We of course will return and tell them when booking are 2 or more nights possible. In closing as past hoteliers we acknowledge in tropical humid climate maintenance is essential as wear and tear are always an issue for a property over time but here they do their utmost for your stay to be trouble free.

Unfortunately there is a mould problem in the Bathroom. The room was fine when doors were opened but when closed up in the evening the smell of mould was strong. This is a real health hazard so needs to be addressed. Also I was a little disappointed in the food served. Granted I have special requirements which the staff helped me with but there were lots of things not available. I understand how difficult it is when you never know how many people you are going to serve but maybe the Menu could have less but all be available. I would so love to visit here again. But would need the Mould situation to be addressed first. I really had a beautiful stay. It's a shame about that one factor.

I loved staying here so very much. I loved the beautiful views & the well kept garden. The staff were so very helpful. I have dietary requirements & they couldn't help me enough. This is a very beautiful place to stay. My room was comfortable & I loved the day bed on the Verandah. I loved listening to the River & looking at the beautiful Ricefields.

The hotel has an amazing view, it has a very prime location in a very special place. The free yoga in the morning has an incredible placement with astonishing views.
