There was nothing I didn't like.

Rob and Martha have created a special place. A beautiful idyll on the water in a quiet pretty location. Everything was a joy down to the tiniest touches. Breakast was delicious, served on the bungalow balconies. The staff were a smiling professional delight. Rob and Martha are the perfect hosts who have clearly nurtured a slice of paradise for guests. I am now living full time in Ubud and was on an exploratory trip to find coastal geteaways. I found the perfect one (and Candidasa). Thank you and I will be back!

Having to leave. It was so good I realised all my other accommodation left me wanting.

Wonderful place to stay. MJ and Rob have created the perfect get away spot. Relaxing and peaceful. The staff are friendly and efficient. The abode was clean and well designed. The pool refreshing and the gardens colourful. Sleeping was easy with the sound of the waves.

The location is wunderful. Near the sea, with a beautiful garden, quite en relaxing, lovely pool. The owners and the staff are very kind and the service level is excellent. The breakfast was the best we had until know. Mendira is a very quite lovely place with small shops for eating, good coffee and massage's. We give 10 out of10 points for the wooden house. Chapeau.

Absolutely gorgeous! Thank you, Rob & and MJ, for sharing your beautiful home with us. Great location to just chill & disconnect from hectic life. Staff are amazing 💜 they are so helpful & will go out of their way to make your stay memorable. No Grab or Gojek, but staff will organise their community taxi for transport. Food can be ordered through whatsapp & delivered straight to your cabin. Breakfast provided was delicious. Highly recommended xx

The setting is exceptional. We had amazing sleep listening to the sea. It may feel a little out of the way but there is good food nearby and we even had delivery one evening. Relaxing in the pool after a hot day out was just what was needed. Breakfast brought to the room made it feel very luxe.

For some people it might be a bit too far from everything... but that's exactly what I liked about this homestay. :)

The fact that it's just two houses and the main house where the owners are living in, makes this place perfect to relax. I also loved that the houses were made with wood and the very VERY spacious tropical open air bathroom.

A small suggestion is that directional signage is placed in the access road immediately before the final turn to the entrance. At present, it's easy to miss the turn .

A perfect escape from the congestion and over development of southern Bali. The two villas are well designed and set in beautiful grounds.. There are great views of the various nearby islands, including Lombok. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast was generous. There were plenty of good nearby restaurants .

there’s not much to dislike, the stairs leading down to the ocean are very slippery but that’s pretty hard to prevent.

we really liked the the setup here. Outdoor bathroom is awesome, great sunset views, good snorkelling right off the front when the water is calm. friendly staff, and good breakfast. lots of places to eat within a 10 minute walking distance, or you can go right next-door.

The outdoor bathroom, although cute, gets very wet when it rains. So the floor is wet a lot of the time. This was a bit inconvenient, especially at night.

We had a great time. The cabin was very comfortable, especially the bed, and was made up each day by the very nice staff. It was lovely to be served breakfast on the veranda, looking at the sea. There was a good choice of breakfast and it was well cooked. The pool is a bit bigger than it looks in the photos and has a great view. We liked going through the back gate to the resort next door where there is an excellent, very reasonably priced ocean-front restaurant that has regular free dance shows. It's a short walk into Mendira, where there are other eateries. The owners were very friendly, but not intrusive.

Quiet, friendly, professional, clean. A small two unit operation run by the sweetest couple. Can’t beat the rooms for coziness or the views. Highly recommended. Would stay again in a heart beat.

Wooden house was beyond our expectations. Tranquil and sublime. Absolute paradise. The breakfast was amazing as was the outdoor bathroom, room facilities and the staff. We ordered meals in from a nearby restaurant- best food on the whole trip. I would return in a heartbeat.
