Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaThere was nothing I didn’t like about the property. Just be aware there are quite a few stairs to get to the property. This might be an issue for some people.
This property was great value. The room was large with a great view and spotlessly clean. The family who own the property were very attentive to all my needs and the included breakfast was at a cute cafe next door that offered a great range of options .

New ZealandIt was all very nice.
We chose Ubud Wins Bungalow because of its good reviews and we were not disappointed. My friend and I had separate rooms which were identical and on the 1st and 2nd floors, so had good views over the neighbourhood. No lift so one needs to be able to climb steps! Lovely clean bright rooms each with its own shower room with toilet and basin, all tiled. Big comfortable beds and a balcony with chairs and a table. The accommodation fronts (via steps), onto a small lane, Jl. Kajeng No 37, which is lined with shops and restaurants, but cars are not allowed as it is too narrow. The back entrance via Jl. Suweta, is through some neighbouring properties and this is the way to bring in luggage. The swimming pool is lovely, just the right size and temperature for a relaxing swim. The whole area is a mass of tropical plants and far enough away from the main town of Ubud to be a sanctuary from the mayhem of the local traffic. This is a family run business and they are delightful. A delicious breakfast is served in the family run restaurant (Hide Out Cafe, Jl. Kajeng) at the bottom of the front steps.

Wins Bungalow was a perfect start for our vacation in Indonesia. The room was great, clean and quiet with a nice view from the balcony. Breakfast was outstanding, very special and owners were very nice and helpful and gave us very good recommendations. We also loved Ubud the cultural center and also the very nice walks/ hikes around directly from the bungalow on beautiful small paths through rise fields and small villages.

The room looked the same like in the pictures, and maybe ever better in person, with a beautiful view and a few minutes walking to the center of Ubud.

IrelandEverything about our stay was incredible. We stayed during Nyepi, which is Bali new year where they observe a day of silence and you can't leave your house. During this day, the family provided both of us with complimentary home cooked meals for breakfast lunch and dinner! Even desert was provided! The location is great, close enough to the town but still away from any loud noise of Ubud town. The family were also very helpful with any recommendations and local knowledge. Would highly recommend!

United KingdomWe stayed for 4 nights and only wished we had stayed longer. This quiet villa on the outskirts of the centre is hidden away 2 minutes from rice paddies. The room was spacious, always clean (cleaned daily), hot shower, best bed we have slept in on our South East Asia travels for 4 months, wifi, space for relaxing, incredible breakfast. We didn't have time to use the pool but it looked lovely. The owner was very kind and helped arrange laundry for us too. Really recommend here. We also used the services of their driver friend Evan for airport pick up and he was so great that we spent another day touring Ubud with him.

PhilippinesThe place is situated in a quiet area of Ubud yet still walking distance to the art markets and different temples… The owner was so sweet, always smiling and nice! She made sure everything was comfortable. I also had the experience to see how she prepared the offerings as they have a Hindu celebration the next day. Room was always clean and fresh! The location btw is a little uphill so take note of that especially for those people who have mobility issues but for me who loved walking and hiking- the place was perfect 😍 Cars/taxis can only enter late at night or early morning. Breakfast was provided by the restaurant behind which is owned by the son of the owner. Overall, great stay and relaxing place ❤️

AustraliaSuch a peaceful spot right in the middle of ubud. The staff that work here are so welcoming, friendly and helpful, they even helped us book transfers and ferries for our entire Bali trip. Rooms are spacious and clean, the pool area is quiet and relaxing away from the noise of central ubud. Cafe downstairs where breakfast is served has great coffee and a variety of tasty options. ItalyToilets/bathrooms need some maintenance.
Lovely Homestay surrounded by lush nature, minutes away from Ubud Palace and from Kajeng rice fields. It has two entrances: the pedestrian access is at Jalang Kajeng, at the end of the lively Kajeng Street Market; the other access, which you can get to by car/taxi, is at 35 Jalang Suweta. Upon your arrival, get in touch with the owner and check whichever entrance works best for you. Some of the rooms are by the pool, some others are upstairs: all of them have a great view. This homestay is clean, bright and quiet. To round it off, breakfast is served at the cafe downstairs and you have the option to pick from the menu (toast+fruit salad+tea or coffee); everything we had was delicious and well presented. 100% recommended
