We found the monkeys intense and a little bit annoying - if you’re not a fan then I wouldn’t recommend. There were a lot of them around the pool area, and up on our balcony. In saying that, there were amazing to sit and watch from our bedroom window

We loved the pool and the room was wonderful. They give you pool towels if you ask for them too. Breakfast was amazing each morning, and if you’re heading out early you can ask for a breakfast box

Great location, monkeys at your back door , was priced appropriately, nothing flash but reflected in the price. We had a great view of the river and lots of monkeys came to visit

Some updating needed. Monkeys can become invasive due to proximity to the sanctuary. My unit had a pretty musty smell and the countertop in the bathroom had a large crack.

Great location for shopping, the palace, etc. Pool was decent and breakfast was included. Close to Monkey Forest. Staff was responsive and armed with a slingshot to fend off the monkey business.

Honestly, there's nothing i didn't like. Place was lovely and ticked every box.

Wenara Bali Bungalows is beautiful. It's so clean, with great staff and lovely food. The location was great, right in the middle of everything, but yet still provided a lovely tranquil setting. Would definitely recommend.

- Many motorcycles driving past and honking, until late at night. - the internet connection is poor. - the breakfast is not as good as everyone says. Only toast and eggs. - bed was hard.

Good location near monkey forest, many shops and food in the area. The towels are changed every day. Outside the hotel there is a taxi driver/tour guide dewan who will bring you around.

the monkeys can be a bit messy and occasionally leave droppings around the property, which weren’t always cleaned up promptly. Also, there was some noise from passing motorbikes in the morning.

The location is unbeatable – right in the heart of Ubud, super convenient for walking everywhere. The room was clean and tidy, and I really enjoyed the pool area. Breakfast had a wide range of choices, and it was lovely to see monkeys passing by now and then – a very “Bali” experience!

Rooms were very basic and included towels but no hand towels, face clothes, or body wash. Some of the doors were hard to close (my bathroom door didn't close properly). We loved the monkeys hanging around but they were VERY LOUD on the roof, and the traffic on the road also woke us up at times. Simple breakfast included - would have appreciated non-dairy milk as an option for the coffee.

The pool was a great size, staff were friendly and location was central - very close to the Monkey Forest. Simple breakfast included.

Stayed in twin room with pool view. Awesome location. Loved watching the monkeys everyday. Very comfortable lounge chairs around the pool. Beautiful helpful staff. Loved the banana pancakes. Great value for money. Enjoyed my stay here immensly.

Overall it needs some maintenance and upgrades, especially the bathroom where after a shower it was difficult to use the sink as there was no separation between the 2 and the water struggled to go down. Also no safety box in the room.

Great location, close to main road with shops and restaurant, but also the monkey forest, which meant we saw monkeys all the time. Small but nice swimming pool. Staff friendly and helpful.

The hotel is located down a lane that is also a road for motor bikes so it was a little intimidating with 3 children when coming and going. Can't flush the toilet paper and had booked for 4 people but only 3 pillows, cups and water bottles. No capacity for extra bed unfortunately. For the price though it was more than adequate at $50 aud a night.

Great location next to the monkey forrest, had monkeys outside our room which the kids enjoyed. cheap meals at on-site restaurant, some meals a little disappointing but most were nice, our favourite were the spring rolls. Pool was decent, only small but clean and refreshing. Staff were helpful when needed but not overly friendly like other hotels we stayed at during our trip.

No tv in the room... not that I needed it, I guess I'm just used to putting the news on for noise. I wouldn't hold that against them.. I enjoyed the peace once I had it.

Everything was fine. It was nice to see the monkeys around the garden each day.

Can hear road noise from the room

There were monkeys from the sacred forest, on the property a lot of the time, so it’s risky, leaving things like sunglasses and phones beside the pool while you swim, or outside the door of your room on the balcony .There is constant noise of motorcycles passing from early morning to late evening. But it is quite a sleeping time.

In central Ubud, the hotel complex building was beautiful.
