Nothing We would suggest to remove the name “cosmic” from the name of the accommodation to make it sound more appealing

The 2 rooms are surrounded by tropical plants and trees. There are no neighbours nearby. It felt like being alone in Bali. Rooms are big, all you need is present and beds are comfortable. In the evening you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. A special thanks to Kadek and his wife for hosting us: from cooking to massage and helping us around in the region, they made our stay amazing.

    Unsafe, but Clean Villa

We felt so unsafe in the accommodation. We were the only guests/residents, there is no reception or hotel staff and there are no other accommodations in the immediate vicinity. For tourists/non-locals this is a very unpleasant feeling. So we have left the accommodation in the night and checked into a hotel nearby. It was so creepy. The water in the shower was not warm/ hot either.

It is quite difficult to get to the villa, be prepared for windy roads and lots of hills. There is a dirt road right before hitting the villa. Also you will need a scooter to find something to eat for lunch and dinner. We rented our host’s scooter to buy dinner at Giriwood restaurant. Or alternatively, make sure you bring food and water to make simple meals with! The indomart is a 7min drive away but it is not walkable due to the roads and hills.

The hosts greeted us when we arrived and helped us with our luggage, which was super helpful since there were stairs. Breakfast was so yummy!! The first morning we had an early morning photoshoot and so the host was kind enough to be our driver-for-hire for the photoshoot and then buy us breakfast afterwards to make up for it. He then took us to banyu wana waterfall and then a coffee plantation for a local traditional lunch at De Koffie. That lunch was the best Indonesian food we had on the trip! And the host was very friendly and passionate about his work! The next day we ate nasi goreng that was cooked from their home and brought into our villa and Balinese coffee.
