Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. United KingdomI was located on an end room which I think was next to a staff closet of some kind as a cupboard door being opened and closed regularly could be heard, not a major issue.
Perfect location, set far enough away from the hustle and bustle and noise of central Ubud but still within easy reach. It’s a quiet area with really trendy restaurants and cafes nearby. There were two good sized swimming pools and the small restaurant served a decent breakfast.

On arrival to my room I adored the fresh flower bouquet and fresh fruit plate. Also the welcome flowers in the bath and on bed, absolutely beautiful 🌺Staff were wonderful always. The breakfast was nice with lovely views of the main pool and well maintained garden. Shower was amazing with extra large shower head.

Villa Sonia is a beautiful hidden gem, the staff are so helpful and friendly, rooms are spacious and clean, the spa is excellent and the location is ideal if you don’t want to be directly in the ubud madness, there are plenty of lovely places to eat outside and it’s also right next door to monkey forest. We would 100% stay here again. It was perfect.

Villa Sonia is set in a beautiful quieter village of Nyuh Kuning on the south side of the sacred monkey forest. Beautiful pool and lovely breakfast service. Rooms are dated but well looked after and nice and big. Flowers on arrival are lovely and the staff just so friendly. Luh was such a Professional and sorted out our booking without fuss. Would definitely stay here again

I will recommend this hotel until the day I die. The staff were phenomenal. The service was unmatched. I’ve been in the world. The food was stunning. The rooms were immaculate and just giving honeymoon vibes. They really did make us feel so special. It was my birthday when we arrived and the room was covered in petals just so romantic. We actually could not find this enough enough for everything they did. We went to get massages on one of the days and it was the best massage I’ve had of my life and again I would go back for their service. We stayed in one of the villas and we had a pool pretty much to ourselves honestly could not recommend this place in the enough and I cannot wait to have an excuse to come back.

AustraliaVilla Sonia was fabulous! We had the Balinese rooms and we loved the spaciousness and the balcony with the beautiful view over the pool. The staff are gorgeous too, every single one of them! Location is superb! I have been to Ubud many times and have decided that this is the best location for getting around, restaurants and the less busy vibe. Value for money is amazing too! We will be back.
