Not really a negative - We thought it was a bit closer to Ubud than it was - its luck with the traffic but not too bad if you are prepared for it. Drivers were no issue and was nice to escape the hustle and hawkers and be in a non touristy area. Was truly nice to buy fruit at the local market and not be treated differently or prices hiked.

The villa was a tropical oasis. Separate buildings for bedrooms, living and kitchen. Simple furniture and designed for outdoor living. Lovely outdoor bathrooms. A central pool decorated with lights and an area for loungers. Plenty of seating options. Limited kitchen options if want to cook but why would you? Simple but good breakfast with tropical fruit plus choice of dish per person. Chickens were noisy but our body clocks meant we were up anyway! The hosts were contactable 24/7 but only nearby until 3 which was plenty - they could organise drivers for you.

Excellent property manager, very helpful in organising drivers, providing recommendations and really interesting walking tour to local market. Villa is a calm oasis, outside a very busy Ubud. Easy to get taxi or moto around. Villa Property is rented in its entirety and has 3, one bedroom bungalows with en suites within the compound, all surrounding the pool.

1. Bath tub hot water/pressure, was unable to cope with the demand for family of 5, hot water pressure very weak, couldn't take a single bath due to insufficient hot water supply, despite being advertised as villa with bathtub. 2. Next door currently under construction, with scaffolding overlooking our villa, didn't really bother us as we'were out exploring Ubud most of the day, returning in the afternoon, which then the construction workers would stop work and finish for the day. 4. Mosquitos, villa did provide local insect repellent, which was good, however mosquito's did manage to get into villas at night, suggestion for owner in installing mosquito net for all beds.

The villa is beautiful, tidy, and impeccably clean. The garden is beautifully landscaped and well-maintained. Mr. Ngurah was wonderful and courteous, and he gave us a lovely insight into Balinese culture. Breakfast was excellent, with a variety of options to suit everyone's taste. It was a wonderful experience staying at the villa, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The villa is beautiful, spacious and has everything I need. The swimming pool is nice. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Not humid at all and barely have any insects, which I was worried before I came. The room manager Ngurah is so friendly and helpful. He serviced us the breakfast every day, helped arrange the car and book reservations for dinner and gave us a tour to the local market and local house. My kids used the blender and made milkshakes by themselves, and Ngurah assisted them and clean up the mess they made. Really impressed. Highly recommended.

The house is comfortable, you have everything to feel comfortable. The owner is a uniquely kind and friendly person. The breakfast is varied. The garden and the pool are like a small oasis. Ubud is 10 minutes away by taxi. We had a great time. I highly recommend it.

The place is beautiful, but like any place outside of the middle of ubud, you will need a car to move around. The drivers are very nice and the staff can help you get a driver even!

The staff is extremely kind and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcomed.

Absolutely stunning, spacious, meticulously maintained. We had a bit of a foodie tour of Bali, and Villa Sindu was within 15 minutes of some must do restaurant - the Locavore restaurants (each one is a visual experience as well as amazing food), hujan locale, moksa ubud, Merlin’s - and a short distance from the art markets, major temples, famous ubud spas, monkey sanctuary. The pool was a nice refreshing dip in the afternoon, as we would get hot quickly trekking thru the sites in the morning. My kids appreciated having a beautiful room and bathroom to themselves, we don’t always get that when we travel. Authentic style but with modern amenities - air conditioning etc. And the staff is wonderful, from the welcome orange juice, to packing sandwiches for us ahead of our pre dawn trip to mount basa, to helping us when some of us got sick. Pause and enjoy the bonsai trees, they are really carefully maintained

Both a plus and a minus was that you did need to Grab bike or car to get into Ubud to hit restaurants etc., but it was also nice and quiet and away from the chaos and noise of central Ubud.

My family had this little compound with multiple villa rooms all to ourselves and it was lovely. The garden/pool/bonsai trees/art/koi pond was so Zen-like and relaxing. There was help on the property during the day and they were excellent, willing to arrange transport, help with laundry, bring you coffee/tea or other needs. The breakfast choices were delicious and well presented.

There was nothing not to like!

We had an absolutely amazing experience during our stay! Traveling with three kids can sometimes be challenging, but this property made everything seamless and enjoyable. The staff were outstanding — incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help. Their genuine hospitality made us feel so welcome. The tropical garden was truly breathtaking, like stepping into a paradise. It provided such a serene and magical atmosphere that the whole family loved. Every detail of the property reflected its excellent value for money, from the clean and comfortable rooms to the well-maintained facilities. This was hands-down one of the best vacations we’ve had, and we will definitely come again. Highly recommend it for anyone seeking relaxation, beauty, and exceptional service!

If you like to be secluded this is the spot for you! Owner and host are very accommodating. Whatever you need they will go above and beyond. We are very impressed with the delicious breakfast they make for us every morning. Not to mentioned how beautiful the villas are. We each got a private hut, the view is breathtaking. We had a fabulous stay at Villa Sindu. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The villa itself was clean, very private and relaxing. We really enjoyed using the pool and we also had the opportunity to experience a floating breakfast. We extended our stay an additional night as we loved it so much. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Bali!

Ngurah and Dewa were very friendly and accommodating. Love the whole villa privacy and pool that is only for us. The beds were very clean and comfortable with a very pretty bathroom design. There is a water dispenser at the kitchen.

A stunning place with stunning people! Please don't hesitate to book! Actually this is more beautiful in nature than in photos. Lovely details in the garden, pool with good steps and size, villas nicely decorated. And even though I was travelling alone, I felt totally safe and taken care of. This place is absolutely a gem! Our entire stay felt so exclusive, luxurious and private. I booked this place for my husband’s birthday and they decorated the place with balloons, a happy birthday sign and rose petals. There was even a bouquet of flowers for him. The Dewa family went above and beyond in their service and hospitality. We were truly treated like VIPs from our arrival to the end of our stay. We were offered welcome drinks, complimentary rides to and from Ubud town centre, complimentary laundry service and breakfast. I had specifically requested for a floating breakfast and had thought I needed to pay extra for this but to my surprise, it was also complimentary. 100/10 would recommend to anyone - don’t hesitate, just book this place!
