Nothing, everything was perfect

The host is the most wonderful person. She is kind, she ensures you have everything you need. Villa is clean and today. Has all the mod cons, pool, Netflix, air con, nice big fridge, filtered hot, cold and boiling water for coffee, quiet area. As a side note, I left my drink bottle in the villa. Lisa (the owner)rode it up to me so I wouldn’t leave it there. Gem of a person, I can’t rate this place highly enough. Breakfast is up the road at cafe cartel. I loved it. !

Pool malfunctioned and couldn't use last 2 days, but not the owner's fault. There was a pool at the gym we could still use if we wanted a swim.

Loved this villa. Location is perfect, in a very quiet lane with other private villas, a short walk to many shops, restaurants, laundry, massage places etc. Private pool was divine! Full kitchen, air-conditioned bedroom with king bed, loads of towels, 2 toilets, heaps of room for 2 people. Netflix, gym pass, coffee cartel discount, and free airport transfer for longer stay were added bonuses. Owner Lisa was amazing and was available to answer questions as required.

Room was tidy and clean. Short walk to some good restaurants and discount at Coffee Cartel at the lane entrance. Beautiful Bodyworks Spa a few metres down the road. Water cooler and co.plimentary snacks were lovely. Lisa was lovely. Nice and quiet.

It was clean, comfortable and quiet, which I wasn’t expecting as it was in the middle of Seminyak.

The hot water in the shower was unpredictable, having trouble controlling the temperature. This wasn't much of an issue as the weather was so nice, and happy to have a cool shower.

Nice and clean, house keeping was done every 2nd day. Host Lisa was so welcoming and friendly - she found out it was 1 of our birthdays during our stay and surprised us with a beautiful and yummy birthday cake. When she also found out our young daughter was joining us, Lisa also went out and brought some new pool toys for us to use, so lovely. Any questions we had, Lisa was quick to respond and answer (via WhatsApp), giving us lots of information about what was in the area e.g. great restaurants, places to go look at and activities to do. So helpful.

From the moment I got picked up at the airport to the moment I got dropped off, my experience at Villa Sammy was exceptional! The villa is perfectly located in the heart of Seminyak, while also being secluded down a side street for privacy. The villa itself is a legitimate Balinese experience and exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend it as an alternative to more expensive resorts. The nearby Spa/Gym (free) and Cafe (discount) are an added bonus. But the actual highlight was Lisa. She is an amazing host, with a vibrant and humorous personality to boot. Great at communication, no task is too small, and incredibly reliable. Would recommend for return stay. Makasih banyak Lisa!

Excellent, quiet location in a small side lane in the midst of Petitinget, in walking distance to coffee shops, nice restaurants, bars and shopping. Clean, down-to-earth and well organised, with proper aircon in bedroom and fans in living room with kitchenette. Cute small pool - which conveniently is in the shadows most of the day. Ideal for couples. Host Mrs Lisa is a gem - a kind, active and always helpful person who doesn't mind going out of her way to arrange things for guests. Coffee Shop at the beginning of the lane offers great coffee and delicious meals at a 20% discount for Villa Sammy guests. Beaches are easy to reach by taxi or motorbike-taxis.

The couches next to the pool could be more comfortable or changed into day beds instead but overall good value for the price. You will not regret staying here.

Peaceful after a journey out in Seminyak. Swimming in the pool when it rained was fun. Bed was comfy and smelled great. Lisa the host was very friendly. We were happy and would stay here again.

Incredible property and wonderful owner. She helped us with items we might need like bug spray and charcoal tablets! She went above and beyond finding us a bike for the week as well. The place itself is great for solo or couple or friends, there are two bathrooms which is very helpful. The pool was beautiful and clean. I would 100% recommend and I will definitely be staying there again. The location is also perfect with Balis best coffee just down the driveway

I could not fault anything

Loved everything. Could not want more from a villa. Was beautiful, clean, comfortable and the pool was just heaven. Was in a very great area of Petitenget where all the cool bars, restaurants, cafes and clubs are. Shout out to the Cafe Coffe Cartel where as a guest of Villa Sammy you get 20% discount. The food there is outstanding. The gym next store which you get free use of was such an amazing facility. Last but definitely not least the host Lisa was just an angel. Nothing was a problem and she was sooo helpful in every way and always smiling. I will definitely be back!

The shower pressure wasn’t always great, but that’s because it was being pumped. So other than that, everything else was great!

Everything about the property was amazing, the location was great! The pool was bigger than expected which was awesome. Lisa was so quick to respond when I asked her a question. As a solo traveler I felt so safe, it was out of the way but still close to other villas. Would recommend to anyone

If I had to be picky the stairs are quite steep. But I have 2 bad knees and I managed them fine.

This was our first trip to Bali and we were anxious about accommodation. Lisa made everything super easy and was a dream to deal with, she even kindly picked us up from the airport and organised activities and transport on our behalf. The villa is perfect for any Couple. Very clean and tidy. Well appointed kitchenette, dining space and bathroom downstairs. Bedroom with lovely balcony and ensuite upstairs. We spent many hours in the pool during our stay, which we were happy is out of the hot sun for much of the day. The location is also incredible, short walk to many of the great venues in Seminyak. We took advantage of the included discount at Coffee Cartel which does a great breakfast at the end of the lane.

The location of the Villa in a quiet street and the privacy of our own pool. Lisa was very helpful and even left me a birthday cake as she'd picked up from my passport that it was my birthday. Lovely touch!

The kitchen/living/pool area is open and does get very hot in the morning when the sun is on it. There is a fan but it was 32 + degrees and it just didn't do much! I had to wash plates and cups before we could use them as they were a bit grubby from previous use. Some of the drawers and cupboards were very hard to open/close.

Great value for money. Must be the cheapest place with a private pool in the best area of Seminyak. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, clean bedding and towels, homely feel of the place, good air con in bedroom, lots of extras not mentioned in the listing, lovely cheerful host Lisa - nothing was a problem. Villa is at the end of a lane with 3 others but still very private.

Everything! - Fabulous Host who went above & beyond for us - Free Gym Pass, was a lovely touch - Coffee Cartel, 20% off just up the road was also great. We went every-day! - Host gave us a lift to our next location, she didn't have too, so kind! - Fab Location, loved that it was so close to Ling Ling's & Shooters - Introduced us to a driver, who has been showing us the sights of Bali, highly recommend

Great villa, spacious and clean, has everything you need. Lisa was very accomodating, allowed us to check in a few hours early. Good location, at the end of a quiet street, but plenty of cafes/restaurants within a 5min walk.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the property. Occasionally, I had trouble with the key to the front door. It may have just been user error.

The villa was well-maintained. The flooring especially was nice and gave an high end feel. It was beautiful. The bedroom decour was very nice and modern. The private pool was nice for relaxing in the evening. It was near several restaurants, shops, and spas.
