Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SpainMore shuttles from the hotel to the center would be good as there are only 3.
The villa is well equipped and the pool is very nice. Also the hotel is great and the restaurant and Spa are top. The Spa treatments are incredible, we took a facial and body massage. Staff is amazing. They would make everything super easy for us and arrange room service, spa booking and treated us like royalty.

Bungalows are amazing well taken care of. Beautiful swimming pool. Villa Nini is not on the main road making it less noisy at night. Staff at Villa NiNi and Spa are very kind and helpful too.

AustraliaDark room
Beautiful place with private pool. We enjoyed our one night stay here. The villa we had however was extremely dark with no natural light, and hence would not have wanted to have stayed there much longer as our intention this holiday was to just relax in the room and by the pool. If they sorted out the windows it would be great.

United KingdomVilla itself was stunning, very friendly staff. The location was quiet from busy roads and humans, but the sound of nature came through as the doors were not fully sealed (which is very nice but be prepared for a loud night).

AustraliaThe villa doesn’t have any telephone for room service. So you have to go to the main desk for any room service or needs.
The villa was really beautiful, quiet and peaceful. A perfect place to stay for your holiday. Breakfast was really good and healthy with decent options.

PolandVilla Nini is an excellent place to stay in Ubud. It’s not so far from the city centre and the area is very quiet. The breakfasts were very good and everyone from the team was very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for amazing time and great hospitality :)

Chinathe street around is kind of dirty.
our wooden cottage is very local, and the half-opened restroom make me feel more close to the nature. Although the rice field is small, it is a beautiful view. Also, the hotel offered a shuttle bus to Ubud place, which was very convenient.

LuxembourgThe main reception is in another hotel, and you need to communicate via WhatsApp which is not always the fastest. And to have the main amenities like massages, or transportation to the city center they need to take you to the main hotel which is 500 mts far.
The hotel is super nice, with lot of nature around. The food was also super good.

United StatesCouldn’t reach anyone after 10pm if there was an issue. There were some obnoxious people in the villa next to us blast music and yelling until 2am and we couldn’t reach anyone to assist in resolving the situation.
Such a cute villa. Roomy, private with your own pool even though the water was freezing cold. Close to the main property which is a spa resort. 5 min walk or a golf cart will take you.

Czech RepublicWe were a little disappointed that even though the instructions stated that you can order a massage directly at the Villa, I was told at the reception that it was not possible, that I had to move to another hotel.
It was absolutely great to have privacy in the entire villa. It has its own beautiful pool and breakfast is served in the villa.

AustraliaLocation was a little too tucked away for our overnight stay. It didn't seem central to many highlights of Ubud, except for the Spa to be spoilt. Having scooters would probably solve this issue.
Traditional villa experience with lovely gardens around our pool. A golf buggy shuttle took us back to checkin point at the Bliss Ubud Spa on demand. Rice paddies along the walkway to the villa entrance were nice but not the views I was expecting.

ItalyThe breakfast is a huge NO. You can option both breakfast in room or at the restaurant (which is located in a different hotel close by), we finally optioned in room since the food choice was exactly the same. Boiled egg overcooked, pancakes uncooked. One day we booked the breakfast really early since we have to leave at 07 AM and they delivered it at time we have to leave.
Location is great: super quite environment, but only 10 min (by taxi/scooter) away from Ubud center. We loved the style of our Room (Villa Nini n.5), really fresh and comfortable

AustraliaNo phone contact from room to reception. Had a fridge but we had to stock it and there is no where close to get supplies I.e beer, Tonic. There is free transport into Ubud central available from Bliss Ubud three times a day but no return transport leaving you to have to haggle with touts for a return taxi journey that is overpriced
We loved the setting out of Ubud near a rice paddy and hearing nature rather than traffic. Loved the antique look of the villa and the beautiful private pool. We had our own little dining area where breakfast was brought each morning. Very quiet and private.
