Reviews of Villa Mirah Ubud

Comfy room. Swimming pool was decent (note it's not warm water as it's in a shadowy area). Breakfast was good; although not consistent quality. Friendly staff that are willing to help. Nice location in quiet area near rice fields.

Strong fungus smell in our room upon arrival. It cleared up a bit after a few days but this was not nice. We had an issue with our laundry didn't smell fresh at all; this was mitigated by not having to pay for it.

10 minutes by car from Ubud center, but far by walk. Room was delightful and clean with a large bathtub and a shower. Breakfast was good and complete. Swimming pool seemed clean with sunbeds and a shower near it.

Far from markets and restaurants.

Breakfast is nothing special, it is ok. We only had lunch there once, it was ok, the other days we want to Ubud (was much better) Room interiour is ok, but a bit more decoration effect would be great. 2-bedroom villas are very far away from the Main building and there is a big difference between each of the villas. Although it is the same category it can not be compaired.

Note: For every activity you will need a grab. During our stay it took aprox 30 minutes each time to be assigned to a driver. Drivers dont like the access road as it is a bit bumpy. The 2 bedrooms in the villa are not directly connected, only via the patio. In our case with a young kid this meant he could not sleep alone in his bedroom

The nature surrounding this villa is so beautiful. We could see birds, a frog, fireflies, ants around near this villa. The area here is quiet since it's far from the center. Staffs are kind and helpful. They have many services like massage, dinner, bike rent etc.

It was a bit far from the center so going out costed long time. But that's also a reason that it offered true countryside nature vibe.

The staff were helpful and kind. Top hospitality. The private pool setup and cleanliness was very satisfying.

there is no buffet at b'fast, one has to order from the set menu. the location is around 20-25 mins from main Ubud city. Surroundings are beautiful, the private pool villa was amazing.

Pool is amazing for taking good pictures . Our flat was very spacious. Overall cleanless is good but there are a few spots left without cleaning like the curtain on bathroom window. Breakfast has many varieties and we tried american option it was very good. Restaurant has rice field view.

We enjoyed to stay there.

Nice interior design. Rain shower was really nice and hot water supply is perfect. Aircon works fine and the bed is comfortable.

The room wasn’t clean properly, not up to a 4 star villa standard. The room smelled funky and we raised our concern, the reception said it’s due to flowers they’ve put out. I wasn’t convinced. Putting the smell aside, we discovered that the bed sheets were a little damped and stained at first. I noticed cow webs on the bed side lamps, some food stains on the corner where the rubbish bin was, dust on the corners, cups with stains etc. The most shocking part was to find rat droppings under the kitchen sink which then explained the funky smell. They did clean it up immediately but they should have picked this up and clean it before any guest move into the room. Housekeeping is quite poor.

Enjoyed our stay overall. Staff were very attentive and pleasant throughout the stay, they couldn't do enough for you whether it was help to find a taxi, laundry, booking spa massage, charge your phone - nothing was a hard task for them. Rooms were large, clean & comfortable with a balcony as well as a spacious & tidy bathroom. Couldn't fault housekeeping.

Breakfast was great however I felt sometimes it was too much, as there wasn't a proper option for a la carte, it was mostly 'set menu' breakfasts which included some sort of french toast or pastry to start followed by cooked items - so if you don't want a heavy breakfast, it seems like a lot of food, but completely our own preference & opinion. Area to get to the hotel is odd as it is down a dirt track so quite hard at night to locate for taxis etc.

The staff was exceptional. The Villa was clean and the general feel of the whole property was great. The Restaurant was nice.

There is nothing particular we didnt like. We will return.

The staff are exceptional, responding promptly to any requests and always being so welcoming. We also stayed in the pool villa, which was nice and secluded with a great layout.

With the amount of rain, we had a lot of mosquitoes in the living space as it was so open
