Villa Lumbung Salak is a hidden gem of the mountain. Once we surmount the short, rough ride of the climb on the ragged road, we love the raw beauty of nature and the tranquility it offers. We experienced the genuine hospitality of Indonesians with their smiles, delicious welcome drinks, and food (fried banana and hot tea – best food in rainy weather). We had a short but fulfilling walk in the mountain under the tall pine trees towards the refreshing waterfalls. We watched the beautiful sunrise in the morning as the daybreak evaporates the fog and the singing frog sound changes to the crow of a rooster. It was a brief and yet very relaxing break. The villa offered the comfort of a home, and the experience is a commune with nature. I highly recommend the place. The road going there is narrow and steep especially 10 minutes before arriving to the villa especially when arriving to the villa to parking lot. . Location is very far from hustle bustle very hard to order Gofood Shopeefood.

View is spectacular. Get breakfast for 4 eventhough the room is only for 2 adults. My kids also got nasi goreng and it tastes good. Water heater works fine. Its pet friendly but i don't like pets. Upon arrival they serve hot tea and fried banana

I don't like lizard, there quite a lot on the wall or ceiling Hahaha,,

For the 2nd time, I’m staying here, never bored, and love the nature around it. We are a couple with 2 doggies, and the staff around the villa delivers exceptional services. We always do small trekking up to the hill at the back of the Villa where is Gunung Salak located,, really satisfied and will definitely come back many times more!!!

Access road to the place are not good, slipery after rain and not enough sign to direct us to the place, lucky we meet villager willing to help push our car

Everything was great except the road that led us to the villa. It was steep, muddy (raining when we got there), narrow (it fits even an SUV but might get some scratches from the twigs) and there was not enough road sign that points us the way to the villa. Google maps wasn’t that accurate.

Pak Hendry and his wife were so accomodating. They are the caretakers of the place. The room was clean. The place was well maintained. Food was good - they served us local food and fresh veggies (Lalapan). For breakfast, they served nasi goreng (fried rice) and egg. Wifi was good.

The natural place n staff's.

The place is up the mountain.thier is a small waterfall near by about l km away.own unit got a nice mountain n village view.the host is very friendly n cooked nice breakfast for us with organic fruit 🍓 .also we paid for the transport to bring us around.. because I the high hill so must accept traveling to the villa.lastly we was there in the raining season.but rain on n off. but we just enjoy the place..
