Very clean and spacious room, a nice pool, and easy self-check-in and check-out (didn't even meet anyone from the staff). Close to the main street with many restaurants, but it's not ideal for walking to it because it's a narrow road with no lighting at night.

I really enjoyed my stay at Villa Iris! The place was nice and clean and I felt really comfortable staying there on my own. The location was great, especially being someone who does enjoy walking places ... only a 5min walk to the main strip!

The bathroom was very basic and quite smelly - renovation there would be good. The drain did not work well so when you showered the water got everywhere in the small bathroom and it was right next to the toilet so everything got wet. There is construction everywhere in Bali, so it is hard to avoid anywhere you go. There was construction here too but it started in the morning and ends at night - if you need to be t

The room was spacious and I liked that it had separate section for mini fridge and kitchenette section. Water, tea coffee is offered complimentary, which was nice. The room is nicely decorated. They will clean up your room when you request and change towels. The bed was comfortable. Internet was the best I've had during my three months in Indonesia, so great for getting some work done, too. I am comfortable walking by myself but the road leading up to the villa gets fully dark, so use flash light so passing cars and scooters can see you for your safety. I felt safe walking but I know for some solo travellers this might not work. So if this makes you feel uncomfortable might not be your place or you just always grab to the villa at night and you're good. During the day it is nice to walk to the villa and not far from cafes and shops.

A nice stay, location was fine but a scooted ride or taxi is required to get to any restaurants / cafes / shopping. Nothing is within walking distance.

Enjoyed everything about this stay, from the clean, bright, spacious room to the friendly and helpful staff! Location is perfect for getting to the beach/ bars/ restaurants etc. I was lended an umbrella for a day at no cost and I also had my laundry done here for a small fee, it was returned to me in perfect condition.

There was some construction work around which ideally would not be there, even though it did not majorly bother us.

Good Location not too far from the main strip. Be aware though that its one dark road at night without any lights so advisable to use Gojek/Grab

Wifi cut in and out, and the location is good but our Grab drivers could only meet us on the end of the road.

Has everything you need, the property was clean and nice. Even had a desk for meetings.

Staff sent an accusing message after we had left accusing us of not checking out on time when we had left before the checkout time as per instructions - clearly a lack of communication amongst staff but was not handled professionally , really strong horrible smell in both room and bathroom (possibly drain) , one of staff members walked into room unannounced (claimed to have knocked but I didn’t hear).

Slightly noisy due to construction and club nearby, makes it difficult to hang by the pool within the homestay

The room was very beautiful and cosy, I felt like I am at home. I also liked thet despite the construction around the property, the homestay itself was extremely clean and tidy. Also the communication with the owner was very smooth and easy and they were always helpful.

Great location, very close to all the shops and restaurants but situated off the main road so you don’t get any road traffic. The rooms are very clean and have everything you need (desk, kettle, fridge, wardrobe).

The bed was incredibly hard and uncomfortable. I can usually sleep anywhere but i didn't sleep well at all due to how hard the bed was and my partner said the same. Facilities were very basic, although this is explained in the room details. The kettle took quite a long time to boil for 2 small drinks. The pathway/road to the accommodation was incredibly dark at night and seemed a bit dangerous. Although you do get used to this. The room we stayed in (room 3) did not get any sunlight which made drying things a problem. Unsure how often rooms are cleaned but we stayed for 3days and had no cleaning. Although we did have a do not disturb sign up for the first initial day.

Three very cute ginger cats onsite, they were adorable and used to being stroked and petted. Didn't see much of the staff but when we did they were very polite and happy. We rented a scooter via the staff and the transaction was simple and easy. Location was fairly central to Uluwatu, just a bit of a dubious walk. Rooms were nicely furnished and the linens and towels smelled amazing!! Cold water was supplied via a water machine in the central area of the accommodation. We did not experience any cold showers which was good, although we did struggle with the bathroom layout for where to put our toothbrushes as everything fell off the sink. Probably best for a traveller type of stay, paying for the location and not so much the amenities.

A lovely place to stay, very clean, quiet and had all the basics we needed for our time there. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It’s about a 7 minute walk to the main road which is possible although there are some hills which we personally didn’t mind. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for somewhere budget friendly but still very nice. Thank you ☺️
