The bathroom was not very clean and rather old. But the beds were very clean, so it was OK for us. Just bring slippers.

We really liked the dinner. They provided very delicious vegan dishes for us. Also the view and the pool were very nice. Furthermore, there was a free shuttle to the starting point of a waterfall trekking (7km, 4 waterfalls on the way) which was a beautiful tour.

I don’t think I have anything I disliked, the communication with the staff was sometimes a bit vague or difficult, but that’s okay.

It’s very relaxed here, quiet, especially if you come from a busier place like Ubud or Canggu. The pool is amazing, as well as the morning yoga and massages. Views are unreal!

i don’t usually rate property’s but i have to with this one. the food, the vibe, the facilities, the staff, the room… the list could go on. they were all exceptional. you don’t pay much for this place. you arrive and you get a welcome juice like royalty. the rooms are beautiful. you get free access to a SAUNA and gym. like what?! and that’s not even mentioning the free yoga classes and the beautiful yoga chalets around the place. wow. 10/10 truly

A very beautiful place in the mountains, if you need privacy and relaxation, then you must come here 🤗 Yoga, massage, sauna are available and there is a restaurant on the hotel grounds. Breakfasts are simple, but that's enough. There is a bike rental and you can order a transfer

Room 1 was rough. The bathroom was old and grungy. You could hear people visiting in the dining area very clearly. It was right outside this room and the lights shined in through our curtains.

Our first night was in the regular hotel part. Our room was old. We upgraded to a cottage after that and it was wonderful! The yoga was in the most beautiful setting! Fun perk! Nice to have a gym there too. We loved the pool. The only bummer was the winding road to get there made us change our plans and we ended up just staying at the resort all day instead of venturing out to the waterfalls and temple we had planned to do that day. It is quite a ways off the beaten path, but if you are wanting seclusion and a beautiful yoga retreat, this is the place for you!

The prices of the food are a little high compared to other locations, but the taste is okay. The shower is primitive, you cannot change the position of the shower head, you need to shower while holding the shower head, otherwise it points at the door.

Very good service. Nice pool, big room and very good airconditioning. The villa is a little far from Munduk center, but they do offer free shuttle service. We did not use it because we have our own motorbikes. They have activities such as cooking lessons, dancing and free yoga.

The setting, pool, and outdoor dining areas are outstanding, and the shuttle service is a great bonus. The breakfast is very good. The two rooms we had were fairly standard, with small bathrooms, but the balcony with a lovely view made up for it. The service is exceptionally attentive and friendly. Thank you to the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

There is nothing around, you eat in the resort or you have to drive quite a way to find something. I stayed 2 nights and the 2nd day the room was not cleaned and I asked for some water for the room, I was charged for it, with service charge also. I didnt see the sauna or gym, no idea where it was, likewise the yoga.

The room was nice and bright, double doors onto the balcony/patio. Breakfast was nice, eggs to your liking and fruit. staff were lovely and very helpful. The view was gorgeous and the grounds were kept very well. the pool was nice to relax beside.

Food was generally fine but I wish there were more options for vegetarians, maybe oatmeal, steamed vegetables. And maybe better cooking oil. Some non-dairy options, like soya or almond milk.

Such a beautiful place! Comfortable beds. Several yoga shalas. So nice if you want to do some meditation and yoga. Morning yoga class was nice. Very peaceful location. View is gorgeous and there is free shuttle to Munduk. Had nice massage and sauna. Stuff was very helpful and friendly.

There are no shops or restaurants nearby. I recommend getting here by scooter, so you can easily explore surroundings. Because of the location in the nature, you can find various species of animals in your room especially in huts.

Location is great - quiet place in the nature. Very helpful staff. Shuttle to Munduk is sweet.

Maybe have more scoot drivers rather than taxi for solo travellers.

A little peaceful bubble. The view from the swimming pool was amazing ! Free yoga class are really nice and delicious breakfast. Free shuttle to go in the center to discover Munduk. And the staff was incredible ! So nice, helpful and we share such good moments with Nova. Thank you again!!

We stayed in one of the cabins and it was literally beautiful! The staff are so kind and helpful! We did the waterfall tour, cooking class, yoga class, sauna and massage all in 2 days, plus plenty of relaxing by the pool. I cannot recommend villa ipsa mode and really hope you consider staying here if you get the chance to visit Munduk!

There was not much to dislike about this little gem but the breakfast was nothing special. It was include in this very cheap stay so I hate to complain. The resort is about 15 to 20 mins from an town so you are a bit isolated. Just keep that in mind and enjoy being in the middle of no where. The wifi was decent but wasn’t great in the rooms.

This place was located in the most beautiful lush green mountains views. The staff was unbelievably kind and helpful. They had a free shuttle to an amazing hike that allowed you to see four to five waterfalls. Such a lovely peaceful getaway. I would highly recommend if looking for a relaxing couple days in nature!

Our stay at Villa Ipsa was just wonderful. Hubby and I stayed in a Cottage which had an amazing view. The cottage had everything we needing such as mosquito net above bed, good size bathroom, mini fridge, table and seating on balcony and a comfy big size bed. The cottage was clean and comfortable and great value for money. We attended morning yoga which is free and also used the onsite sauna every late afternoon before dinner. The view from the property pool was to die for. Staff at Villa Ipsa were so helpful during our stay with the star of the show being Nova. He is one of the most helpful employees we’ve ever encountered through all of our trips to Bali. He’s such a gem. Overall everything was wonderful and we would definitely stay here again.
