Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaFor those who don’t like stair this is may not be for you (although they do have 1 room with minimal stairs ) lots of very steep steps (but worth it for us for the incredible view and staff also insisted on getting the bags to the room for us )
This property has the most amazing view. Surrounded by countryside (peace and quiet) and amazing view of the volcano. The staff were so kind and friendly and happy to help in any way possibles . The room was also a great size with lounge area and very clean. Breakfast served in your room. Staff also helped with tours and transport which were great.

NetherlandsPeaceful stay with unforgettable views 🌿✨ The view from Villa di Bias is simply breathtaking — waking up to the rice terraces and the mountains felt like living inside a painting. It’s the kind of scenery that makes you slow down and really breathe in the beauty of Bali. What made my stay even more special were the girls who took care of me. Their kindness and attentiveness felt so genuine, never forced. From the smallest gestures to the way they made sure I was comfortable, they created a warmth that made me feel at home.

United KingdomAbsolutely incredible place to stay, I couldn’t recommend it more highly and it is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Stunning views overlooking the rice terraces and Mount Agung, beautiful villa, amazing amazing staff who were so kind with our baby and brought whatever we needed so so quickly - dinner, breakfast, lunch, drinks etc. Nearby we enjoyed seeing Tirta Gangga and lunchtime dining / views at Bali Asli. The dinners brought by the staff upon request were excellent - particularly the homemade Thai curries. I would return to this villa x100 over!

GermanyIf there are people that were actually dissatisfied with anything at all then these are people that went there thinking they are above all others and only for the gram so if you are a person like that don’t go for the sake of the good people that work there and also for you own sake because you will actually get to see how "normal“ people make a living
🌿 A Truly Unforgettable Stay at Villa di Bias 🌿 From the moment we arrived at Villa di Bias, we were welcomed not just with smiles—but with genuine heart. What makes this place magical is not just the breathtaking views of rice fields and Mount Agung, but the people who carry its soul. Dina and Widia, you were the shining stars of our stay. Every morning, you showed up with warm smiles, exceptional kindness, and a level of grace that made us feel like family. From breakfast chats about Mingming the cat (who was bravely mothering kittens somewhere nearby), to helping us with every little thing—your presence made our experience unforgettable. Widia, you greeted us with so much warmth and stayed with us through every step—literally. From arranging scooters and food deliveries, to calmly solving issues like the cold water—your care was meticulous. You handled everything with elegance and I honestly hope Villa di Bias recognizes your leadership. You would make an excellent manager. Dina, you stepped up so naturally and confidently when Widia was off duty, ensuring our transition to the next hotel went seamlessly. You were always there to say hello, to check in on us, and your energy was just as grounded and wonderful. Special thanks also to Yoga and Shinta, who were always there to help. From luggage support to backing up the team whenever needed—you could feel the unity and strength in your teamwork. And of course, how could I forget our driver/pool guy—who brought not only great service but sunshine on a cloudy day. His joke will stay with me forever: “It’s cloudy today, not nice weather.” “Yes, true,” I said. “Then let’s do this—you blow on the right, I blow on the left, and we’ll chase the clouds away together so the sun can shine.” It’s small moments like this that make Villa di Bias so much more than a villa—it’s a living, breathing experience of kindness, joy, and community.

From start to finish, we had such a lovely stay at Villa Di Bias. We were picked up from the airport with transport arranged by the villa and our driver, Made, was lovely and gave us a warm welcome to Bali. The rooms are gorgeous with the most stunning views. The beds are super comfortable and everything was just perfect. The staff there are AMAZING! They are attentive, really look after you and will do their utmost most to help you with anything you need. They even give you little bottles of mosquito repellent too, which was a lovely touch, as I’m always getting bitten by them! The villa itself is further out from Amed town, but we loved the calmness of it all: less touristy area and a serene, picturesque paradise. The villa is also closer to the certain attractions, such as Lahangan Sweet, Berina Rice Terrances and Tirta Gangga. There are quite a few steps going down to the villa with the shared pool, so be prepared for that. However, you do not need to worry about carting your luggage up and down, the amazing staff do it all for you 🙏🏼 We had a lot of luggage too, as we are on holiday for 6 weeks, so we had 2x20kg cases and hand luggage cases - the people that work here are awesome! Truly appreciated 💪🏼 We also had breakfast included and they bring it to the room for you, where you enjoy it whilst taking in the breathtaking views 😍 On a clear day, you also have a perfect view of Mount Agung from the pool. Communication with the Villa Di Bias team was faultless - they invite you to a WhatsApp group for the duration of your stay and are prompt with all responses and requests. ☺️ This is our third time in Bali, but our first time in this area and we truly loved it. A must visit and a must stay at Villa Di Bias - wow! 😍 Thank you for an incredible few days 🥰

Braziltours/scooter rentals are a bit more expensive than on the outside. I feel like the hotel commission was too high, forcing prices up.
Wonderful view. Top quality villas. Nice pool & great food, including breakfast. What else could you ask for?

ThailandThe Villa has an amazing view, exactly how it was promoted, with direct access to the pool overlooking the valley. Very Large room and bathroom, a very cute area with sofa and table. Breakfast is served in the room in the morning ( the Villa doesn't have its own restaurant), but there is not much selection. Upon request you can order lunch and dinner in the room as well ( wide choice, good quality ). The overall structure is perfect for a getaway. I loved the walk up and down the side of hill to each the room. Better have a scooter to move around, there is nothing outside the villa on the street.

Romania- not an issue for me, but consider that the quietness and peaceful surroundings comes due to the rather remote positioning of the property. It's very close to the main road, so it's easily accessible- but not in a tourist hot spot. So if you are expecting party areas or restaurants nearby, you won't find such things. There are plenty of things to do in the region (Lempuyang temple, water palaces, rice fields, coffee or cocoa plantations etc.), but they require daylight and driving.
+ amazing views, as the property overlooks an entire valley of rice fields + extremely friendly and helpful staff (honestly, they are some of the most genuinely helpful people I've met) + spacious interior + huge bathroom + large terrace, that includes a covered area to have meals or simply relax during the day + quiet area

CanadaWe wished for the option to get our own dinner from nearby spots but the villa was secluded enough to feel too much of a hassle to do so. Nonetheless, food here was decent and we would 100% come back again.
Absolutely breathtaking views, literally couldn’t stop gazing out all day. Quiet area and very relaxing. The staff was very kind and responsive to all our questions. Location is close to temples and tirta gangga via scooter or hired driver!

CanadaThis was our second time at this place, and we absolutely loved it. The private villa is spacious, bright, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bathroom features a large window with a mind-blowing view of the rice fields. Even though there are large windows, it still feels very private as the villa is located at the very top. We also loved the gazebo — it’s covered, so you can enjoy your meal with a view in any weather. The staff was kind, helpful, and quick to respond. We can’t wait to come back!

Czech RepublicRecently I got a chance to spend one night in Villa di Bias in their one-bedroom villa with a pool and stunning views of rice fields and majestic Mt. Agung. To be honest I booked this villa just by a lucky chance when I was looking for some accommodation near Tirta Gangga, Lahangan Sweet and Lempuyang Temple. I was trying to avoid crowds when visiting these places so one day tours from Ubud felt like a nightmare to me. Staying in this villa was the best thing I could do for a peaceful visit of these places. The villa itself was such a HUGE surprise to me!! It was very affordable and so I had no expectations but at the end it was one of my favorite stays in Bali. The villa is spacious and it has large and comfortable bed and modern well equipped bathroom with both, a shower as well as bath. My favorite part anyway was the outside area with a pool and breathtaking views. It was very authentic experience. After check-in they add you into a WhatsApp group where you can communicate with the whole team. They also have informative app about the breakfast, dinner, activities, transports… it was very handy and I really loved how all the staff took care about us. The only thing I would change is a length of the stay. Next time I would book at least two nights to enjoy this peaceful and relaxing place as much as possible. Thank you Villa di Bias for having us! It was unforgettable stay.
