Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Czech RepublicThis place is truly exceptional — nestled in the hills, it offers a raw and untouched atmosphere that captures a completely different side of Bali. While the surroundings are rugged, that’s exactly what makes it so special. It feels real, grounded, and refreshingly unspoiled. If you're looking to escape the tourist-heavy areas and experience the more authentic, peaceful side of the island, this is the perfect choice.

AustraliaJust the insects, if anyone has issues. Bees are attracted to the lights so our first night there were a few bees found downstairs so just be wary of that. You are in the jungle so we didn’t really mind
The location is very high up in the mountains, many beautiful rice fields on the way. Beautiful scenery of sunset in front of the villa and sunrise behind the villa but covered by trees. The food is limited but very delicious. Adi our host was very welcoming and was very attentive when we brought up any issues.

SpainOf course you are in the middle of the jungle, so expect "jungly things". Even though I am scared of those I stayed here anyway and I am glad I didn't miss the experience! 😀
I don't really know where to start. I found the place amazing because you are sleeping in a tower in the middle of the jungle, with your own pool with an amazing view, a lot of privacy, a very nice breakfast and the most wonderful owners who really put their hearts into it and are extremly helpful with anything you need. It isn't very big but has all you need, they even provide toothpaste. Thank you a lot for everything!

AustraliaWe can’t complain about anything! Any issues we had we discussed it with the host and he tried to accommodate us. Told us that knowing what the issues were he could improve for next time.
If you are looking for a place which has stunning views and is peaceful and quiet, then this is your place! We had the best stay! The host Komang was very accommodating and went out of his way to make sure everything was ok. He even went to the shops to get things we ran out of. Being a bit remote from everything Komang dropped us off at the local restaurants or picked up takeaway. He even offered to be our driver for the next few days taking us around to all these amazing tourist attractions. Komang spoke very good english and told us a lot of history about his culture and the places we were visiting. Normally you need to book him in advance if you want him as your driver, so we were lucky he was available. His rates were very reasonable and he even dropped us off at the airport. The views and nature around the accommodation was breathtaking and very peaceful! Breakfast every morning was very delicious and was brought to our cabin where we had stunning views of the rainforest. Thankfully, not the season of bugs so we had our windows open all night listening to all the different sounds from the forest. Being out most of the day the evenings were a bit cool for swimming so we didn’t really swim, but the pool looked very inviting. We loved our stay and hope to be back again in the future.

SwedenHad to get use to a few bugs here and there, but it was a part of the experience. Also very remote, so hard to get around unless you have a car or scooter. Luckily we had Komang to help!
Unique stay where we got to live in a tower, enjoy our own pool and an unforgettable view. The owners are amazing. Komang made our trip A++. We got to experience the rice fields, coffee tasting, a trip in the jungle, Ulun Danu Beratan temple and plenty of delicious food and fruits from the area. Learned so much and really recommend if you want something calmer than the typical tourist areas and learn more about the beauty of Bali 🙏

MalaysiaSince it's maintained by a family don't expect 5 star hotel experience. As you are in the middle of the jungle, ants and other bugs might come in the room. It's pretty perfect if you can ignore these little things.
Exceptional service by the host Mr. Komang and Mr. Adi. We had requested the pool to be decorated with flowers for our anniversary which was lovely 😍. Mr. Adi cooked us delicious dinner and breakfast accommodating our needs and even gave us snake fruit from the farm to take away with us. The heart shaped pool and the tower are perfect if you are looking for a romantic getaway.

HungaryAltough not all rainbows and sunshine, since you are literally in the jungle, dont expect 5 star hotel comfort. The nights are Cold up there on the slope of Batukaru... really cold, and there is not much insulation at the bungallows, so you will feel cold. Sometimes you can run out of hot water if you take too long of a shower, and the water has a lets say unique smell. Sometimes you get a gekko as a roommate, but they live on the wooden beams of the roof, and harmless. Moreover, they catch flies, so we were more than haply to have them. Just saying, that you should expect wildlife, since you are in the jungle.
*Long review* We've stayed here for 2 weeks, and it just cant get boring. It is at the most pristine location you could imagine, Inside the jungle (with all thr pros and cons). I strongly advise you to spend at least 3 4 days here and rent a motorbike. Exploring these fabulous mountain roads is an experience in itself as well, but it has a lot more to offer. From waterfalls to temples to warungsamd what more.. The scenery is absolutely unmatched by anything that a large city can offer. It is relatively close to the tourist attractions (with bike, at least). The people in the local villages are still honest and kinde, dont want to rip you off and willing to help selflessly. If you can, choose the bungallow instead of the tower from the accomodations, it is more spacious. The hosts ( Mr.Adii and his Cousine) are fare beyond anything you knew about a good host. Their hospitality is endless, and they are willing to bring down the stars for you if you ask them to do so. From preparing bonfire, harvesting snakefruit, making delicious dishes, they are willing to make anything for you. They also can offer unique local sights to see.( sing sing aguing or Tibu Sampi waterfalls, ricefields etc.) I strongly recommend that if you stay here, to try out - beside the splendid breakfasts - mr.Adii's dinner. He is a really good chef, and flabbergastingly cheap. (The hot chocholate is a must have). All in all, i Strongly recommend this accomodation, you will not be dissappointed.

United KingdomCareful if you’re riding up there, the roads are really bad & they also are very slippy in the wet. There’s actually an alternative route which probably adds 10-15mins onto your journey but is a lot safer.
The staff went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. We actually had an accident on the scooter on the way to the place & they supplied us with bandages & some special oil to help treat the wounds. The views are great & there’s some nice places to go nearby.

FranceThe bed was very small and round! Instead of rectangular.. which was cutting some space. If you're looking for a remote area where you're the only guest that's it. If like me you were expecting to see people, and a check in counter then it's disappointing.
The view was beautiful. The staff tried to accommodate us he was very nice.
