We loved how quiet and relaxing it was, yet still close enough to explore the village and experience the real charm of Bali. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed to match the natural surroundings. The staff were so kind, welcoming, and always went out of their way to make sure we felt at home. The breakfast was fresh and delicious – the perfect start to each day with a view you’ll never forget! We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already planning our return. It’s not a criticism and I don’t want to detract from how beautiful the property is, but I think it’s worth mentioning for fellow travellers about the stairs at the villa. They aren’t conventional stairs and are quite unique wooden single steps and are abit steep. If you have mobility issues, I would just take the stairs here into consideration as there are also steps to get down to the villa from the Main Street that could impair you slightly.

The name of the accommodation literally says it all. What a beautiful villa in a stunning setting. It was peaceful and we got to sit with our amazing breakfast and a brew and watch the rice paddies be harvested every day with views of mount agung. The villa was super spacious, super clean, and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. The lack of aircon could have bothered us if we came in high season but thankfully it was around 26 degrees and because of the valley location, it was cooler at night time. The room does have fans inside for those needing them though. The staff helped us to secure a moped so we could get around Sidemen as Grab does exist there, but is quite limited due to the location and how quiet Sidemen is in general. We were also given souvenirs to take with us and a lovely letter from Nina and the team. Overall we had a fabulous 3 nights at the villa and would absolutely recommend it for those who want peace, quiet and serenity.

We knew when we booked that there would be bugs in the room, which I didn’t have a problem with but my husband was a bit put off by. Top tip, put the mosquito net down early to help reduce the number of flying ants etc on the inside. It was quite hot sleeping without aircon The double doors didn’t shut properly so when you have the light on at night, bugs could easily get in. The breakfast was average, we didn’t have an evening meal there. We ate at Samanvaya and The Sleeping Gajah.

We had the most beautiful and unforgettable time at Uma Dewi Sri. The location is magical with beautiful views, sounds of nature and very relaxing vibes. Beautiful villa, from the entry with fish to the open plan front room and balcony. All stunning. The views are the biggest draw and how peaceful it is. We ordered food and the staff were amazing with our allergies. Only wish we was in Sidemen longer.

The location on the Booking.com app was misleading we had to spend more than an extra hour in the car to find the true location. Also the Wifi stopped working in the evening so we had no internet connection until the next morning.

An accommodating staff, a majestic view, a very calm area, the lodging is just perfect, and the breakfast was just amazing.

1. For the price, more toiletries like body lotion and conditioner could be provided. 2. Breakfast could have had better options. Choosing between fruit bowl and fruit juice wasn’t ideal as would have preferred both.

Not really a problem to complain about when you have such impressive views, but there is no television, another thing which may be out of their control, but due to the environment you do get visited by a number of creepy crawlies including wasps geckos and frogs that entered inside our room you do have netting around the bed but it is quite unsettling when it’s pitch black and you can hear a frog Ribbit inside of your room this did only happen to us in the evening, but during the daytime it is complete bliss

If you are after the most scenic views you’ve ever seen in your entire life this is the place to be absolutely amazing. friendly staff, very helpful. they arranged a scooter rental for us for a good price to help us get around Sidman. and two very cute friendly dogs on the property.

The villa felt very homely, staff very friendly and welcoming, community in the village also all very friendly! Views from the pool over the value were amazing for sunrise with mount agur as a backdrop. Lots of animals and critters to see around the grounded poxy and bobo the resident dogs were so friendly! Thank you for having us, one of the best locations of our 2 week trip around Bali!

The room was quite hot without AC, despite the many fans available. Perhaps some darker blinds could be added to reduce some of the burning hot sun on your face in the early morning hours. But this was a minor thing.

Stunning villa. So many little details that have been considered. The guidebook provided was so helpful and gave us some great recommendations for a spa, waterfall hikes and food we had delivered. Communication was prompt and the room was tidy. Easily the best breakfast we had in Bali, again so much care in the preparation and quality of ingredients. Staff were attentive and friendly.

I usually wont pick a villas with a toilet bidet… but seriously here I didnt even care i was overwhelmed by all the perfection around me 😄

What can i say? I really cant gather my experience and the beauty and attention to details in words…but ill try my best to sum it up: 1- before i even go to the villa Nina welcomes you in a lovely warm way through her messages and her attention to details she gave me a positive feeling before i step in , then i get a welcome message with a lovely gift on my bed when i got my room…💗 2- the staff! They were all amazing specifically wayan and dea they instantly made me feel at home! Bali is very known for its amazingly friendly staff but here they made me feel my upmost comfort. 3- the villa is spotless! Its perfectly clean 4- its a villa where you don't want to leave 😅 i could stare in my balcony at the heavenly fields for hours and the koi fish pond… 😍 5- the pool is so clean and fresh 6- the food was delicious 7-i will give their lovely dogs a comment by themselves… so adorable i was always (by my willing) accompanied in breakfast by the adorable poxy 8- location location location! Nothing can top the views, the rice fields track in a step away, the river is underneath you.. the sound of nature… the lovely wind with all the sounds of nature… itself is an experience Thank you Nina for this experience its my 3rd time in bali in different areas and villas and this was an experience that tops any other… sidemen is a place where you leave your heart in …
