Nice room and terrace. Possibility to brew coffee and tea, fridge available. Just lukewarm water in the shower. Great breakfast and very helpful staff. Possibility of storing luggage and earlier chck-in if the room is free. Excellent location - close to the rice fields and the city centre. The garden is a bit dark.

The dark garden and lukewarm water in the shower. Sometimes cats run on the roof of the apartment and are very noisy.

Only worth for one night but even then there are better options. + Clean bed, very good breakfast

    - the bathroom smelled absolutely horrible. The light with the ventilator had to be turned on 24/7 to make it smell a little less but it still was horrible. The worst part about it was that the smell spread into the bedroom. -we could take a proper shower because the water was either boiling hot or there was nearly no water coming out. -we had in our room basically no WiFi connection -towels were dirty They tried there best but I would recommend staying there

the location is superb, minutes walk to Monkey Forest Street, Ubud Art Market, Ubud Palace... basically close to everything :) The owner is very friendly and helpful. Love the breakfast too

No toiletries not even hand soap but not too much a issue as we can get from the nearby minimart

We stayed at Wayan and her family's homestay for 6 weeks and extended as we were so comfortable staying with the family. It's a great base to explore Ubud, situated in a quieter area but within less than a 10 minutes to the centre. A 5 minute walk from the Sweet Orange rice fields. Plenty of supermarkets and eateries (give Juice Ja a try!) all along the street. We rented two bungalows which are located at the back of their compound - giving us privacy. Spacious with large comfortable beds and a kettle, cutlery and crockery. Always a supply of hot water in the showers. The use of a fridge in a small room attached to the side of the bungalow. A water cooler on the patio so we didn’t have to worry about buying water throughout our stay. The large shaded patio and seating area was much appreciated. Wayan's gardens were lovely. Rooms are cleaned weekly with fresh bedding and towels provided. The breakfasts consisted of fresh fruit, pancakes and Indonesian dishes. As we were staying a while, we allowed Wayan to cook us what she wanted so we could experience many different types of dishes. The highlight was how Wayan and her lovely family took care of us and made our stay special. We will remember the experience for a lifetime. We had an incredible welcome from the start, warm daily greetings from all family members, gifts for Christmas, daily offerings and Wayan taking care of us when we fell ill. The family are such hard workers and it was brilliant to be immersed into a Balinese family's daily life. Thanks to Wayan’s sister in law, we also learnt to speak many balinese words, “suksma” being our first one. We learnt so much about Balinese culture, their daily life and the many festivals they have. Wayan has a pug puppy called Puggy who is adorable. He especially likes a stroke and is very playful. We hope greatly to return to stay with Wayan and her family again.

away from hustle and bustle of Ubud but very close to the center after a 15 min walk. Perfect balance for walking around and having a loop and come back home. Exceptional tasty and fresh breakfast, fresh eggs from chickens and veggies from their garden. Owner(s) are so down to earth, very friendly and always ready to help and improve your stay. Will be back to Ubud and choose them again to stay <3

Wifi keeps dropping due to the distance in the back rooms. Not so critical, works fine at the porch and nearby windows.

Lovely, spacious, clean room and bathroom. The English speaking host was exceptional, offering us extras like more fruit and coffees. Pretty garden with hens and chicks, butterflies and peace and quiet. Ample breakfast. A fridge in a small adjoining room and a supply of drinking water outside the were useful too.

Maybe nice to have a barrier on the terrace between the 2 rooms to give more privacy, especially as the front wall was glass. The net curtains and night curtains helped here though.

Good setting in a gorgeous little jungle garden, pleasant room, great bed, very good breakfast. The bathroom needed a bit of refreshing, but was correct for the money.

I like very much the setting, the quietness in the middle of the jungle garden, although it was right near the Center of Ubud noisy with the traffic at pick jours. Very charming! The lady owner was extremely pleasant and useful, helped me find my next stay as her two rooms were booked.

The host family is super nice and thoughtful. The room is very clean. It is close to the citycentre and very quiet. You are having breakfast right in front of the room on the porch with a nice view into the garden. What I really liked was the kettle in the room, plates, mugs and cutlery. You also have a water dispenser in front of you room to get water free of charge so that you don’t have to buy water all the time. The Wi-Fi is not very strong, but you just have to go to the family’s house where there are several banks where you can sit down and have a fast internet. I miss the family already!!! Thank you so much!

Here we found the best fried Banana we have tested in all Bali and Lombok , fresh unlike many restaurants, the breakfast is good! The all family is very friendly even if they don't really speak English. Ask them the shortcut to the rice walk from the back of their garden. Close to the restaurant and center. Nice little garden, here you can see how Balinese live. They provide water from container.

This is a budget accomodation so the bathroom is not fresh... the hot water is a bit random. Big bed but no liner to protect the mattress.
